Hello, hello. I've questions about this Moon Day, if you don't mind? You see, back home, there was a whole line of beliefs and magical abilities bolstered by the night sky - glintstone sorceries was the most common area of specialization (and mine!), but a few focused on moon magic. I'm very curious to see if this astronomical event has any effect on my spells. Does it truly happen but once a year? I suppose I'd better get busy if I want to get any research done whatsoever. Moon magic isn't my strongest specialization but I'd be a bad member of the Caria family if I couldn't manage any of it. So, questions!

  • Is moon magic typically affected by this event?
  • Is there an astrologer about that can read my fortune? I've not had it done since-- well, insert horrid things happening back home here.
  • Is adhering glow-in-the-dark stars to my Moon party outfit "too much"? I want to be too much.
Thank you!

I feel you on that one. Dying sucks. Definitely don't recommend it.

Do you have your staff here? Does the moonlight work the same here on it or you haven't really had time to see?

Oh, it's awful! I've done it a few times now. Not the final death, obviously, but still. Never quite get used to it.

I do, and recently received my rapier - it's encrusted with glintstone as well so it can be used to cast additional spells. I've not had the occasion to really use the moonlight but you can be sure I'm going to try now. My aunt twice removed is the undisputed master of it. Will you be joining in with the covens or the party, tonight?

So they cast different spells or working in tangent can cast more? But I'll be doing both. Coven stuff earlier and then party afterward. Best of both worlds.

Either, or both. I generally like to cast a spell with the staff and then move in close with the rapier. Where I'm from, people expect magic-users to attack from a distance. They don't really know what to do with someone who practises magic from a few steps away.

Lovely, I'll be doing much the same. I'm very looking forward to the party. It's been ages since I've been to a good one.

That makes sense and seems like a good way to keep people on their toes.

The Moon Day ones are usually a lot of fun so hopefully this one lives up to the previous ones.
