I'm Dustin.

What are the chances of getting another one of these devices if I take this one apart to look at how it works?

Are the doorways really going to teleport me to other places on the island and not somewhere awful?

Are we 100% sure this isn't an illusion but instead some weird spider and the fly shit and my brains are actually being eaten by murderous bats?

I'd say about 90% of us have that kind of great. Not sure what that says about Vallo's type.

Sorry that it applies to you though. For the most part being here is a pretty decent break from it all, just every now and then Vallo decides to throw something at us. But like I said, there's a huge chunk of people ready, willing, and capable to take on it all.

Probably. But I'll take it.

It's nice - having a picture now to go with all the stuff you tell me. I sort of had one before? Kind of from what you say and your drawings and then things here that came from your home or are similar, but it's nice knowing what it all really looked like.

I'm not? Yeah it was a little quiet but in hindsight I'm okay with that, since I had mom. Everything got chaotic really fast. You were born into chaos though.

Sometimes too much chaos. I miss it though. I think I always would, even if I was back on earth, I don't think it'd ever be the same. Not after everything.

I'm glad I got to see her too. And that you did again. I know it's not the same, the dreams or memories being played like we saw, but it's still nice.

Hopefully not just mine. But yeah, that's definitely something to look forward to. The animal chaos right now though is good.
