	I come from a culture that placed an emphasis on knowledge regardless of the path you would be following. There seemed to be an undertone of bitterness for the knowledge lost when the library burned. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Unfortunately that is a feeling I understand. If I remember correctly, the library did suffer from several fires but it was during an attack by the Roman Julius Caesar in 48 BC that finally did immense damage. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
