I want to apologize to the new guy Catra and I found in the forest today. He was already scared, and the glowing eight-foot-tall lady and sexy catgirl probably didn't help the situation. We got him back to the DOA, but it was a feat.

So, new guy, I think you were too busy screaming and swearing to tell us your name - but I'm really sorry for scaring you even more. I hope you're okay. And I promise to be normal-sized next time I see you.

It absolutely sounds fake! A lot of this sounds fake which I think it how we tend to freak out these newcomers.

No, most of the time it seems to make them MORE convinced it's fake.

I'm doing okay. I scaled back on my usual things this last week, but I'm getting back to normal. What about you?

What it boils down to is there's probably nothing more that can be done other than to be reactive to each arrival.

About the same, I guess. Focusing on meditation, work, and preparing for fall classes to begin.

I've tried meditation, but I'm not patient enough for it. I hope it helps you, though! What classes are you taking?
