Darius bounced through the halls, glad to be seeing Ophelia again. He had a thermos full of hot chocolate, and had another surprise for her that he hoped she would like.

The nurse at the station smiled at him, and he greeted her by name. Darius was good at remembering names and faces.

He walked in a more dignified manner when he got to Ophelia's hallway, and tapped on her door frame before poking his head in. "Hey!"

	Darius filled the paperwork out, his handwriting neat and precise. Then he offered his arm to Ophelia, and led her out into the street. It was fairly quiet, being the middle of the day, but there were still some people wandering around. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Ophelia took his arm, glad he seemed so solid. She felt she needed him to be her anchor. "The buildings are so much different than they are back home." Somehow, they don't look as sturdy--it seems by their looks that they'll come right down. She looked around herself, quite unmindful of being looked at as if she were a tourist. 	"Do they really scrape the sky?" Ophelia has little sense of science and perhaps scraping the sky might not be the best thing for the sky... She gave him an address of a place in a fairly nice part of New York City. It was very near the flower shop. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He smiled and explained the world, and the atmosphere, and how weather happens. He had quite like Earth Sciences as a kid, so he knew a lot about them. It was a very pleasant trip to Ganieda's home. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Ophelia nodded, and took a key out of her pocket, looking at it curiously. "It's a rather odd key, but Mrs. Torres said it would open the door here." Ophelia smiled at him and entered the home. "I have never been inside a house in this world. It is very different," she said quietly, turning around to look at her surroundings.

To one side of her there was a stair case, and in the middle of the entryway there was a table with a vase of flowers. Straight ahead there was a dining room, and to her left there was a entryway to the living room.

She bunched her hand in her skirts. It was so much space and for only her.

"I feel so small."

	"It must be pleasant to have a large family," Ophelia said. She would not know what that is like, though she did have her brother. Or used to have. She smiled at him brightly at the mention of a dog. "Perhaps. I've seen small dogs I think would be very dear to have. I am afraid I would be very lonely all by myself."
