Darius bounced through the halls, glad to be seeing Ophelia again. He had a thermos full of hot chocolate, and had another surprise for her that he hoped she would like.

The nurse at the station smiled at him, and he greeted her by name. Darius was good at remembering names and faces.

He walked in a more dignified manner when he got to Ophelia's hallway, and tapped on her door frame before poking his head in. "Hey!"

	"It must be pleasant to have a large family," Ophelia said. She would not know what that is like, though she did have her brother. Or used to have. She smiled at him brightly at the mention of a dog. "Perhaps. I've seen small dogs I think would be very dear to have. I am afraid I would be very lonely all by myself." 	The way he was touching her made her blush. But it also felt very nice, so she did not say anything. "I think most things will be an adjustment." She would have to figure out how to use the stove and she would have to explore this place more thoroughly once she moved in. She grinned over at him. "I shall have to increase their confidence in me, I think."

After all, it's only been recently that she's shown real interest in leaving.

"You can see the dining room from the kitchen," she said. "It seems like a nice place to have guests."

She wasn't sure what all the furniture was for, like the big cabinet and the other table with drawers, but she was sure she'd find out.

"Heavens. I wonder what these are. Guest rooms?"

She followed Darius in.

They found themselves in a room that was opened to the sunlight, with something almost like a gazebo that was covered in windows. Two overstuffed chairs were facing the window. There were many plants...some in various stages of wilting.

"Oh..." Ophelia hurried back to the kitchen for water, coming back with a pitcher of water. "I hope that they're not too wilted..." She began to water them.

	Darius stood back, letting her work. It was interesting how readily she jumped up to care for the plants. She was beautiful, especially in here, where there was sunlight, and she was obviously in her element. "Greenhouse, sunroom, or something like." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Yes. The plants need care. They need me." She tends them for a moment longer until she is satisfied they may recover. "I am curious to see the upstairs," she said softly. Though she feels that she really does belong here, in this room. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
