REBEL TERRORISM TO BLAME FOR DEATHS OF THREE HIT WIZARDS
The Hit Wizard office at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement has reportedly been in upheaval for nearly two weeks, ever since Head Hit Wizard Janus Yaxley and two other Hit Wizards went missing on November 5th. There is no doubt that Yaxley had a firm grip on the office, having been its head since 1989. This past week, the DMLE had been searching for some sign of the men and finally found it in the Muggle city of Sittingbourne, Kent on Sunday. Michael Cherry, a trainee Hit Wizard who was Yaxley’s junior partner, mentioned to us that what investigators found at the scene this week gave conclusive evidence that a large fire claimed the lives of the three and was the work of rebel terrorists.
This author believes the future of the Hit Wizard office is bleak, at best, with the Ministry’s recent history of restructuring efforts. Alastor Gumboil is currently serving as the interim head of office, and has announced that if anyone has information regarding the murders, please contact the DMLE by owl.
[The article continues on the second page with the names of the other Hit Wizards, background on the three, and a bit more information about the evidence recovered, including wands that were identified to belong to them.]
