Less Numbers, Better Season?

Quidditch! The one word to make every witch and wizard cheer in excitement. The rivalries, the daring plays, the caldendars, the ... axing of teams?

While ushering in a new era of government, the heads at the Department of Magical Games and Sports are currently reviewing the option of decreasing the league to keep only half of it's current numbers. Factors in this decision include a lack of eligible players, lack of funding, and a good number of owners/managers/generous benefactors stepping down from their position over the past several months. While the Daily Prophet frowns upon rumors, Stingers will be disappointed to learn the Wasps are very likely to end their nearly 700 years as part of the British & Irish League due to the loss of self-reliant owner Winnie Milne. No information on other teams has been released at this time.

As the debates are still going on, it is doubtful the season will begin on it's traditional 1 October date. We here at the Daily Prophet will be on top of this as we pray for the Harpies to stay around (or whatever team you personally support).

Rating: Might get high for language, Ang isn't above swearing like a sailor.
Summary: Angelina misses her mates and among them Oliver. She decides to do something about it and brings in a few old brooms from Derrick's house to be repaired as an excuse to be there in attempts to not make her husband-to-be too suspicious.
