*dated to mothers day*
*On Mother's Day, both ladies would find a pair of pink roses sent by mail.

Attached on each is a card wishing them a 'happy mothers day' from Elizabeth, who also writes 'even though our time was short, I greatly appreciate you trying to be a mother to me."

*On mother's day, there's a small bouquet of pink roses addressed to Anne with the following card attached. "Happy Mother's day, from your daughter Elizabeth. I'm sorry we couldn't spend that much together when I was a child, but I would like to think that I've made you proud."

*a pair of pink roses arrives at her door with the following card. "I know you and my mother were once rivals, but you're still my sister's mother, so it's only right that I send you a gift as well. Happy Mother's Day from Elizabeth."

Elizabeth, I never got to thank you for the lovely flowers. I was on tour, but someone had the forethought to preserve the blooms somehow till I was able to enjoy them.
