WHO: Leo and Ren
WHERE: Haven; near the outskirts of the city.
WHEN: Sept 1st, afternoon.
WHAT: Possibly getting trouble brewing in the best possible way.
There were a lot of new faces coming in and out of the city. He hadn't formed an opinion, it was mostly just interesting to Leo. More people could cut into their supplies, but then they could also cut into the number of zombies chilling in the streets below so really it was kind of an even split. Of course, he just tended to nod along and agree with whomever he was talking to at the moment when the subject came up. It was easier, plus it wasn't like he really had strong convictions one way or the other. And why rock the boat over something he didn't actually care about? Plenty he did care about to cause a ruckus over. Like the Snickers bar he knew Mickey had stashed somewhere in the apartment - that was definitely worth getting emotional about. He was feeling pretty okay about the container of meringues waiting for him once he retrieved a new stand mixer for Mrs. Goldberg in 2G (he wasn't even mad she had chickens living in the building if it meant she kept figuring out how to make him shit) though. It wasn't quite a Snickers bar, but they were still pretty good. A lot of the buildings in Haven were pretty close together. It meant if you were willing to, you could do a lot of your traveling above the streets. Then again, maybe he was the only one crazy enough to fling himself from one rooftop to the next and think it was easier then hitting the streets. Though most of the buildings on the outskirt weren't quite abandoned, they were thinned out. Which made them better for looting for random kitchen appliances (he suspected the one Mrs. G had was fine and she was just using this opportunity to upgrade). He was up on the fifth floor when he heard voices below, leaning half out the window to catch sight of what was happening. "Friends or foes," he called out, rather jovial, after making sure the area was fairly clear of zombies. |
