"Nah, mate; my taste is fantastic." She had a fair point, but this was easily one of the least gruesome, most entertaining debate he'd partaken in, in ages. "I'll give you that he's got the coolest villains. Iron Man easily has cooler shit though." Leaning back against the wall. "Fair point. Think that's true of just about any of them though."
"That sounds exactly like what Carina would say. Do you lot get a handbook, rules on how to think your older brother's are idiots?" The question, and though, made him laugh and hit him with another pang of homesickness. It was easy enough to push aside though, to focus on her and the potential for getting her into trouble instead. "Do I get points for not making the obvious horn-related jokes?"
Hearing people spit out harsh things was nothing new, especially nowadays and given the people he often spent time with, but it still made him quirk one eyebrow. There was something about how cute she was that made it feel a little worse (he was smart enough not to mention that, though). "Basso's always seem to have a stick up their ass, but can't say I know any of them enough to know what kind of twisted they are." He was curious, but if her tone was anything to go by, this didn't seem like the best time to ask. He'd ask some of the others what they knew about the family though, more information never hurt.
"Like that spoon of cinnamon one?" Actually though, it was a damn shame they'd lost internet; under normal circumstances he'd google her as soon as she left. "Every kind of nerd, more like. Might be jealous I met you and he didn't, even." All the more hilarious for him, then.
"And deprive you of my awesome company? Nah, mate - wouldn't do that to you." Not to mention he had no way of knowing who else she might tell, or if she got desperate enough and did risk it on her own then it'd likely end up on his head (and even if no one else blamed him for it, maybe he still would).
"You sure they're not just lazy? Figured they'd let you do all the hard work while they rested their legs?" The idea that they had simply left her behind, whether they were particularly close or not, was a cold one. Probably part of the reason Leo chose to mostly run on his own, too. "Unless they're bloody twats, they'll still be down there. We'd have heard the commotion if anything had happened down their." He didn't necessarily believe that, he'd seen enough people worried only about themselves. There was no reason to linger where he was, plus following behind her wasn't exactly a painful view, so Leo followed a pace behind her. Stopping where he could lean against the wall and see her leave.
"If they're not down their still, I'll show you the short cut."
