"Nah, my mates mostly talk about skateboard tricks and pints. Frogger did go on for a couple weeks about this bird that tried to bite him at the pub one night, though. Story got more and more over the top each time I heard it, but it was pretty classic all around." Shying away from things that might gain him attention wasn't in his nature, and she was fun to banter with. "Right situation I'm down for just about anything, even a little teeth - except from the stiffs." That was an unpleasant thought. Tilting his head in thought, "Little of both, if I'm honest."
"That's possible," he agreed. Since it did seem like a few smaller groups had made their way through without much trouble. "I like the idea of you lot being sneaky, makes for a better story." And maybe a little he could understand not being viewed as an obvious threat. "More impressive too. Easy to fake being a threat, can't fake sneaky."
"Never said it was completely off the table. Right girl could convince a bloke to try anything at least once." He wasn't trying to actively flirt, just this was easily the funniest conversation he'd had in ages.
"Could do, but I think we can manage one walking stiff if that happens, love. They're not so hard to maneuver around on their own." It was the groups you had to worry about, really. Leo had no problem taking the zombie out if it did bust the door, but it hardly seemed worth the effort to seek it out and kill it.
Leo didn't make quite the same attempt to hide that he was checking her out. Mostly because he figured it was to be epexted, since they'd been shouting at one another without any real visual to match. Plus she had cool hair, and he found himself glancing back up at it. It was unique, and familiar.
"That's the one," he confirmed with an easy smile. He made no move to get up immediately, mostly because it was far from a bad view looking up at her.
"Pushy little bird, aren't you," he laughed. She was spunky though, which he liked. And after a beat, he pulled himself up to join her. Mostly amused that she was as short as she was (he would have guessed taller) when he all but towered over her. She did look familiar, but he wasn't putting together who she was.
Ducking around her to head back into the hallway. "Don't think it's the biggest apartment up here, but if you don't find what you're looking for there's a whole floor of others." Pointing toward one of the doors they had to pass, "Except that one. Unless we put down the current occupant first." He shrugged a shoulder, like it wasn't really a big deal either way. "Doubt there's anything in there that's not in one of the others."
5B wasn't far down the hall, he used the extra width of his stride to make it to the door to push it open for her. "Bathroom's to the left, off the bedroom." Quirking an amused grin at her, "Figure you'll want to be checking out the eyeliner situation first and foremost, yeah?" As he poked fun at her, he moved back into the apartments living room area.
