I've been talking to Anakin, Jaina, Ben and Rose. They want some people to infiltrate the Galactic Alliance Guard. I said I'd talk to you guys.

We can tell Jacen that we want to help him. But, we're really there to find out information and try and reduce some of the damage they cause.

I'd like to welcome all of our recent arrivals.

My name is Steve Rogers, and I'm a member of the Council elected from within our ranks to come up with the strategies we need to help out.

We are expecting the Yuuzhan Vong to attack Coruscant any day now. And, while I know a number of you have been helping with the evacuation. We do still need to come up with a battle plan. And, to do that, I need to know what everyone can do. You should all find a questionnaire here. Please feel them in accurately. All replies will be kept confidential.

If you do not fill in the questionnaire. You will not be assigned a position during the battle. And, instead will be sent to Corellia along with the other evacuees. I will not have deadweight on my team. And, I especially won't have anyone who isn't a team player. We need to work together to save lives. And, to do this we need to be honest with each other.

Anyone want to organize some regular sparring sessions? Because, practicing just with Faith, can get a bit samey. We already know how the other fights.

Preferably people I don't have to hold back on. But, I can tone it down if people want practice with people stronger than them.

So there seem to be several people talking about dreams. For the last couple of nights I've had dreams with a particular theme, death, dying and well ending up in a place that I'd rather not be..hell.

Does that seem familiar to anyone else?

I think it's almost harder to be the ones left behind on a big mission. Too many cooks is a bad idea, but it's hard to sit around a wait for reports to come in.

Rose has already posted some about this, and Jacen has already asked for help, but here's kind of your final call.

If you've signed up and indicated interest in going with us to Myrkr then it is essential that you spend some time training with the fighter droids Leo and I have worked on. Whether you've spent time with them already or not, I want to offer this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon as specific training with myself and with the droids and I'll give pointers.

If you don't show up then I won't be taking you with us. The Yuuzhan Vong are deadly and they are unique, and I don't care what you're used to fighting at home - they're going to be different - and I'm not taking with me anyone who doesn't have at least some idea of what they are getting into.

We'll be meeting in the Temple sparring rooms.

I'd appreciate either or both of you being there to help me with pointers, training, and making final decisions about who is on the team.

I feel truly honored at the trust you have all shown in me. And, overwhelmed at the amount of people who voted for me. I truly hope that I can live up to that trust.

One of the first things we need to do, on top of the training that Rose is organizing, is to take account of the skills and powers we all have.

Now, trust me. I understand that having this all in one place can be dangerous. And, I don't intend to enforce this in anyway. Or even expect you to make them public to the entire team. I just know that it will be easier to design strategies, if we know exactly what we are working with. And, if you wish to only tell me this in private. Then, that is perfectly fine too.

Well, this is certainly something new. And here I thought I'd seen it all.

It's actually good to see democracy in action. Vote for whoever you want but the fact this is happening at all is good. Been a while since I've seen it.

So, pushing for a seat on the council and a girlfriend?

I have no words.

I did give her my blessing without traumatising her.

I'm seeing a lot of poss about people feeling strangely and manifesting or losing unusual powers, but I thought it might be more helpful to collect all the information in once place. Maybe that will help us figure out what happened and how to fix it. At the very least, if we can match you up with the person whose powers you have, they should be able to help you adapt to them.

I'm going to start a couple of threads to keep this organized, so weigh in on the appropriate one. In the meantime, any scientists and people with magical abilities who still have them, check in. If we all work together, I'm sure we can come up with a solution.
