I'm Iliana. And I'm confused. Mostly because, I don't know what's so wrong with what we get to do here. If they promise, and they did promise, to return us to the second we left and in the meantime we get to save lives and like, help people?

Why is it so bad?

And don't tell me I'm an idealistic idiot. Keller does that all the time. I just like to help people, and this gives us all that chance.

Well, at least fighting back against cruel and oppressive regimes is kind of in the family DNA?

OOC - Once the first group have arrived through the portal and tumble out into the Cafe Musain. Enjolras will welcome them, shaking each ones hand. Their reactions won't seem to phase him. He will introduce them to his friends and Grantaire will offer each one a drink as they settle into the cafe. Once they are all there Enjolras will stand up and quieten the room. That's right. It's passionate speech time.

I welcome you to Paris. I will admit I am still unsure as to the magic that has brought you here but I can say that I am grateful you have come.

We are a people held under the yoke of an oppressive and cruel regime. The poor of Paris are desolate, barely able to scrape enough to live on let alone prosper. The monarchy once again holds power it has no right to and I hope only to see blessed Patria free to make her one decisions. To govern herself as is the right of every man and woman. We are not the only nation to fight for her freedom but we seem to have been blessed from a power unknown to us.

I believe this is proof of the righteousness of our cause and welcome it gladly.

We have found you lodgings, they are humble but given the situation, the best we can do. My friends will show you there soon enough.

You find yourselves at our Headquarters, the Cafe Musain, it is here we plan, it is here we meet a number of times a week. I will not demand this of you, only hope it is your intention to aid us. We are available to help you acclimatise to our time and our city. Well this is interesting. We're supposed to be taking part in a revolution. Personally I'd rather run one than be merely a part of it but that doesn't seem to be an option.

And do me a favor. Please go talk to this Jacen Solo person. He seems very insistent on speaking with you and he's getting on my nerves. I've told him three times that I am not lying to him and he says he believes me but he apparently has been traveling the galaxy studying Jedi or something and we aren't supposed to exist.

Also, in all seriousness, I apologize for mentioning your real name to the other Solo. I shouldn't have done that without understanding the situation. and I care what you think of me I suppose you and I have to stick together while we're here, at least we understand each other.

Thoughts? I'm not completely against helping them if it gets us out of here. What do we know about this time? We need all the information together.
