Oh golly! This is so exciting! I've never been around live humans before and, well, the rest of you crazy kids, too. This is so great, I just know I'm going to learn so much from all of you.

What do you think I should do first? I've been debating between trying a saltine or wearing flip flops. Flip flops! Can you imagine? Me, an eternal celestial being in flip flops? It's going to be so exciting. I just hope this meat suit holds up okay. I'm certain that as long as I keep out of trouble, we won't have to worry about any kind of cosmic reverberation wiping you all out of existence should it become too damaged.

Oh! Oh! Does anyone have any questions for me? You humans (and other beautiful souls) are always so curious! I'm an architect and I design neighborhoods in The Good place. ;) I suppose I could start by clarifying things that are good, versus things that are bad.

Vaguebooking is definitely bad. Please be careful when using this forum to express your feelings. It's certainly not as bad as murder or paying money for music performed by California funk rock band The Red Hot Chili Peppers but all those little negatives add up, you know.

Michael! Dude, I can't believe it! You need to try the jalapeno poppers. They have a lot of real good food on the boat.

Your concern is so thoughtful! I can assure I am not on any drugs. Not because they're inherently bad, but because what souls have access to in The Good Place is so much better.

I'm sorry to say that they are, in fact, that bad. They're the moral equivalent of putting fish in an office microwave or getting a vanity license plate like BOOBGUY4 or MAMASBMW.

Ah yes! The angels of the celestial choir are a completely different department, I'm afraid. Far above my pay grade, cosmically speaking. I merely develop the neighborhoods where souls go to after they've been sorted into the Good Place.

Oh no, oh no. Nothing like that.

The Good place is one of the potential afterlives for mortal souls after their bodies have passed away on the material plane. There's also a Bad Place, but I won't bother you with those details.

You see, every one of your actions had a positive or negative value, depending upon how much good or bad that action put into the universe.

Those best of the best souls get to spend the rest of eternity in the Good Place. There are many other names for it, but that's we architects call it.
