I wanted to thank you for your kindness earlier today. The cubs were quite fond of you, as you no doubt discovered with their dirty hand prints on your pretty dress.

I hesitate to take you up on your offer of Sunday dinner, if only because five mouths is quite a lot to feed. But thank you so much.

Next week is Homecoming, and I am expected to take part in the festivities, culminating in a football game and the crowning of the king and queen. This isn't really something that I'm familiar with. Each day next week is themed! The teachers are encouraged to participate, and my senior homeroom class would most likely riot if I didn't. I'm fairly excited for it, although I'm not entirely certain that I really want to wear my night clothes on Wednesday.

Who will be here on Sunday for Sunday dinner? I'm doing Marilla's roast beef.
