EASTER DELIVERIES!
A bit late, as they came yesterday, but 'Berto's folks sent Easter baskets to the OJBC. They're a touch on the impersonal side, as they were just ordered from a local gourmet shop, but they're definitely gourmet. They're chock full of high end specialty chocolates, cookies, cocoa mix, etc, as well as these bunnies for the girls. Yes, 'Berto's dad is sexist, no bunnies for the boys!
And to just do it all in one post:
Momma Guthrie made special home made Easter candies for all of her kids and their friends. So if you're even peripherally close to a Guthrie you got a basket full of assorted home made chocolate, fudge, marshmallow treats, etc....
And last but not least: Josh got a pretty damned giant basket delivered yesterday from Kevin's folks, as he has every year for the last...4 or 5, now. It's full of stupid amounts of chocolate and jelly beans and a HUGE bottle of bubble solution and bubble wands and a hand made plush rabbit. There's also a small selection of sheet music for both violin and cello, as is also usual. The card - hand made - contains a note wishing Josh a happy Easter and saying how much they're looking forward to finally seeing him again after all this time when they come for graduation, and that they hope he'll be able to spend some of his summer holidays with them since Kevin will finally be coming home for the first time in 2 years.
