It was...a little strange at first. I wasn't expecting you to be eight again, but Freya said it was because of this place doing wacky things sometimes. Since I get magic being wacky at times, I went with it. Besides, you were so cute.

I guess I'm just trying to adjust to the fact that you're eighteen and I have no idea how it went by so fast.

It gets worse around here than people being the wrong ages, but sometimes it's good. We went to New Orleans once. It was nice to see home again. Ugh, please don't mention it

At least the last time when you came from, I was closer to 18 than 7?

I guess this place is a lot like home and not just when it decides to take us there.

I guess that means we made it out of there okay. I didn't think it would work, but with the two of us, I knew I should have had more faith.

You are. Still, seeing you so little...it reminded me how fast time goes. How fast you grew up.

You had me a little worried for a second there. I would love to have lunch with you, Hope. I hope Elijah can handle two potential troublemakers.

It didn't feel very fast for me. And that's not just because I was 17 for two years...

Good. You're responsible, but I think you have a little while to go before being a mom should be in your mindset. You should enjoy being a teenager as much as you can.

Because that totally doesn't sound ominous at all.

Turns out dragons are real. And gargoyles, fairies, and unicorns. Cupid's brothers. Phoenixes. One of those is here and he's my boyfriend.

Yea but

I showed up here a few weeks before my 18th birthday, but it was August, so I had to wait until May to have my birthday.

There's way too much going on to even think about kids. No 'Best Grandma" mugs coming your way.

I know, I'm sorry. I just need to tell you in person. Which I know doesn't help.

Kind of a year, I guess? There were some weird things happening, no one knew who I was, and then I showed up here and he wasn't for a little bit.
