So, now that someone has shown me how these things are meant to work, I should apologise for my less than graceful hello earlier.

I'm Neville Longbottom, seems like a lot of people know me but I don't recognise a lot too so, hello. Properly this time.

I'm apparently a guardian on the 8th floor and I'm still figuring out everything that that means but I've been head of house at a boarding school for a few years and I don't imagine it's too far off. So I'm around if anyone needs me?

I never went Hogwart actually. I decided last minute I wanted to go to France. I kind of feel like I missed out on somethings not going, but that's a story for another day.

Anyhow, doing okay? It's a bit of a nasty shock to wake up here.

Oh wow, well, I'm sure I missed you at Hogwarts, but as long as you think it was the right decision for you, I'm glad you went.

It's...a lot, but I think I'll be alright once I get everyone's ages straight.

I am sure it was good for me. Though, I know you just got here, but will you be doing any teaching? I was supposed to be finishing my last year, so now I just do it mostly as an independent study. Wouldn't mind a pointer here and there on my Herbology studies.

It's surprising how fast this place becomes "normal". There are worse places we could have ended up!

I'm sure I could help if you'd like. Lily was talking about wanting to set up some greenhouses so we could work on that.

I'm sure there are, at least you all have some of your family around.
