So, now that someone has shown me how these things are meant to work, I should apologise for my less than graceful hello earlier.

I'm Neville Longbottom, seems like a lot of people know me but I don't recognise a lot too so, hello. Properly this time.

I'm apparently a guardian on the 8th floor and I'm still figuring out everything that that means but I've been head of house at a boarding school for a few years and I don't imagine it's too far off. So I'm around if anyone needs me?

	I am sure it was good for me. Though, I know you just got here, but will you be doing any teaching? I was supposed to be finishing my last year, so now I just do it mostly as an independent study. Wouldn't mind a pointer here and there on my Herbology studies. It's surprising how fast this place becomes "normal". There are worse places we could have ended up! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She's great at it, yeah. I started studying under Sprout about 3 years after the war, then she retired and I was supposed to start my 6th year teaching today. That's great! I haven't seen her yet. Yeah, it seems most of us have. Luna comes from a few years after, but seems the rest of us are within a year or so of everything. I wonder what the algorithm for this Entity is that determines who comes and when they come from.

I think so? Some days are harder than others, but I suppose so. This place can be hard to handle, you know. ~~Especially without everyone here~~ Not to mention I apparently have a son? Well, you probably know that by now, but it was a bit of a surprise.

	The kids seem to like me at least. I'm not sure, it's been almost 12 and a half years for me. [Hermione\|Neville] I can imagine. It does get easier. Oh! The school I was a professor for is a boarding school, so all of the kids live there during class time. Everyone gets sorted in to one of four houses, and those are the people that they live with and go to classes with.
The head of house is a teacher that is in charge of that house. So my rooms were near theirs in case anything happened and I was the one who made sure they followed the rules and stayed safe or talked to them if they needed anything after class hours.

	There are lots of other people from where I am here and they seem to be doing alright so I think we'll probably be okay. I haven't! I'll have to go look at that tomorrow, it sounds nice. Well, most of my classes took place outside or in greenhouses so we didn't sit still a lot. I don't mind talking much, as long as you listen when I give instructions because some of the things we worked with could hurt people if they dont do things correctly. Eating wasn't usually allowed though, cause some of the plants might try to eat your snacks and it could hurt them, or you could get something poisonous in your food and then you would get sick.
I don't mind grocery shopping, but it's not my favorite, I like to go to market stalls and farms instead when I can.

	Hi Neville, I'm Natasha, also a guardian on the 8th floor. [Natasha/Neville] Technically I'm also your roommate but I'm not actually staying there right now. I do check on the kids every day though and you can always message me if you need something and I'll check in with you too. But I'm actually staying in 3C.
