Hey, everybody!. Okay, first, there are lots of new people here now so if we haven't talked, I'm Freddy and I'm 14 15. I'm a freshman at the high school. Welcome! Tomorrow is Goodland's Coming Out Day so I wanted to say something. But I didn't want to say it over and over so I'm gonna do it here and hope the bullies from home never come here. Like a few know because some guessed and I told some, but not many. And if I didn't tell you, it is not because I don't trust you, but because I just don't understand everything yet. I just know I don't just like girls. I'm not sure I like any girls, but maybe I do. I don't know if I just like boys either. And, like, I've been reading websites like The Trevor Project and It Gets Better and I know there is so much about gender and sexuality and labels and I guess it just feels like a lot so I don't totally know what I am yet, but I do like a certain guy know I definitely like at least one person who identifies as a male. So that is my coming out story. I hope that is okay.

this may not mean much, but i'm really proud of you for this. i know it couldn't have been easy, especially when you're still trying to figure things out. take your time with it and don't feel pressured to say you're one thing or another. if you find something that works for you, that's great and you should run with it. if not, that's completely okay too and run with that. i wish i could say more, i want to say more but...i'm not exactly the most experienced person you could be talking to about this kind of thing. just know that i'm here for you, no matter what and that you're a really great kid that deserves to be happy in life, whatever that might look like.
