The Schism

There was a werewolf attack last night during a DoM experiment. Hermione was there, and was bitten. She's at St Mungo's. I'll update when I know more, but I wanted to get this out there because it'll be in the Prophet in the morning. No getting around that on this one. There were others bitten, and several killed.

Morning to all,

Viktor and I wanted to share some news with all of you. I know there were questions about why we rushed through the engagement and wedding after dating for so many years.

I'm happy to tell you all that I'm pregnant. Due to my age there was a high risk of miscarriage and we didn't want to let anyone know until the end of the first trimester. Today we're starting the second trimester and we're ecstatic. The due date is the 23rd of August.

I've sent a separate message to Bill and his family about this for obvious reason.

Hello everyone,

We realise that the owls may have come as a bit of a surprise and we'd like to apologise for that as it wasn't our intention to offend anybody. Rather than have a formal engagement party at short notice considering the wedding is not that far away, we'd like to host a more intimate dinner at Flamel for friends and family to come together and celebrate with us.

This would be on Sunday 17th November at 7pm.

Please let us know if you can or can't make it.

I wanted to know you first that Viktor has proposed and I've said yes. I know it seems sudden, but we've been together for a while and at our age, we don't want to waste time. I'll be moving to Bulgaria, having found a job with a sport magazine there. Jamie, I'll try to do as many games as I can but it'll be a little more difficult since I'll be covering games in Bulgaria.

Of course, we can still meet for dinner whenever you three want and I'm just a portkey away.

Jamie isn't the only one who's getting married. Viktor proposed and I've accepted. I'll be moving to Bulgaria with him.

Fleur, you should see the RING. It's bigger than a snitch. Okay, it's not but it looks like it might be. Anyway, I'll let everyone know the details when I have them, but I'm sure it'll be some big event with everyone but us speaking Bulgarian. It might be the one time/place where there's someone more important than Harry. I've gone from a national hero to a national treasure.

All right, so I promised Teddy that I wouldn't say anything, but we finished early today because of the game tomorrow and he's not here and I'm bored so here we go.

Teddy and I are together. We moved in together. There shall be a wedding at a specified time. We haven't decided where or when. It will not be at the Burrow. I will not require help to plan it.

Any thoughts and comments on the situation aren't necessary since I don't really care what anyone else thinks about my relationship.

If you give him a hard time at work, I'm never talking to you again. I don't think you will, but he does, so I'm establishing the rules beforehand so you know what the consequences are.

We have a cottage!

Well, technically we don't for two weeks as the other family have to move out and all that jazz but once we're in, you're all welcome to come to the house-warming party on October 26th.

- Game started 34 minutes late because of the fights outside and inside the stadium
- there were 32 Stingers and 89 Pointers sent to St. Mungo's (exact numbers not known at that time)
- there were 54 Stingers and 32 Pointers arrested (exact numers not known)
- the game ended up lasting six hours
- Wasps won but they both scored very high numbers considering the length of the match

I might have been awake pretty much all night at this stage, and I have definitely run out of firewhiskey as a result of that, it's a shame because all we have left is beer and gillywater and I'm not sure it's strong enough to keep going but that's another but it's starting to look like the album might actually be done.

I am totally going out tonight to celebrate. Or this afternoon. Or whenever we've spoken to the people at the label and the important stuff is done. Now we have to hope they say it's all good, which I hope they do because I don't think we have any creative energy left to change much

Okay, I'm rambling. Long story short, album is done, hopefully this is where things get exciting.

Once this all gets the green light I am totally throwing some sort of party, I'd like to be able to invite you all, but I appreciate that keeping any information from the grandparents (and some of the parents) may be quite the task, and I get that some of you might not be comfortable.

Basically, if you fit into the above camp please let me know now and I'll be the big bad wolf and not invite you to save you the guilt on either score.

It's official. Fab and I have passed the psych tests, naturally, and are going to do a crash course of training updates, then we'll officially be Aurors again.

Next job: find a flat. Love you Molls, but we need our own space and so do you and Arthur. Anyone have any suggestions?

For those who don't know game went from 11am to 1am, we got a break to sleep and I'm off to finish it. Once that snitch is caught, I'm going home. Have fun without me.

I want to start by saying everything I'm going to tell you is absolutely true. I'm starting like that because your uncle's has a very hard time believing it.

Do you remember how Grandma always talked about her brothers, Gideon and Fabian? How they died in the war?

Well, they're here. From the past. I know, but really. They are. It's some kind of time travel, and we still don't understand it. They're staying at the Burrow, for now, until Grandma drives them mad with her coddling. They're going to go public soon, and I didn't want you hearing about this from anyone but me. Your uncle's are telling all the cousins, so don't worry about talking about it with them.

You can go meet them, but they'll be at Sunday dinner, if Gran has her way.
