- Blaise is experimenting with spices and plants (he's asking for help to both potion makers and Lily Sr. for safe stuff). Tonight was stew with random plants and potatoes and unidentified meat that was cooked enough that you couldn't taste what it was.
- Julien and Jamie have organized exercise classes, held after dinner.
- After the classes, Blaise has organized entertainment aka a fire and singing and jokes and just spending time hanging around
- Water problem has been solved through summoning and cleaning water with the Aguamenti
- Rooms are still dirty, but working on it. Lisa's main concern is getting the second level ready for the transformation.

- Fabian remembered to book a large U-shaped booth but it's still a bit of a squeeze
- The Prewetts bought the first couple of rounds because Prewett Hospitality and all that
- They got a few unfriendly looks during the first round from the locals but things have settled down

- Guests are supposed to get there at 6
- Delphine will come over with Remus at 6:30. Sirius finds a way to get him to the backyard and SURPRISE.
- Remus could hear them all already, but he'll be properly surprised because he doesn't expect a party
- There's a large white tent to protect them from the weather, however most of the sides are open and there are warming charms under the tent.
- There are chairs and tables and music from both the present and the seventies
- The food is a little on the posh side (Regulus took care of that) and Lily provided the cake
- There are torches through the garden to keep people warm if they walk around but also to brigthen up the place.

As all of you know by now, there was a werewolf attack last night that left seven dead and a number of people injured. I've heard that some people in the Ministry have complained that none of these things happened before the time displaced came along. Now I know it's coincidence, most sensible people do too, but there's always a few that love a conspiracy theory.

Please report any threats or reprisals to me and I'll get them taken care of. I'd also ask if you could please try to remove yourself from a situation rather than hex the living daylights out of somebody, that would be easier. I know you're all more than capable of that but it won't help the situation in the long-term.

So Remus and I were talking recently, and we thought it might be nice to have a more regular get together as a group. So I would like to propose a monthly pub night for anyone interested. I thought about having it at one of our houses, but that sort of defeats the purpose of engaging more with the available resources of this time period. For this month I'd like to propose the 19th, at a mutually agreed upon destination. My suggestion is the Leaky Cauldron, but we can negotiate terms on that front.

Operation: Surprise Remus is a go.

You people don't know how hard it is to keep a secret from a werewolf, especially when your instinct to blurt things out and I can't talk to anyone in the house because he can overhear. Also he totally knows something is up because he's worse than a truth machine, but still let's do this.

Date: 10th of March
Location: Marauders Cottage
Time: 6pm. You'd better be super punctual, because if you aren't, you'll be stuck outside. Delphine it is your job to keep Remus at work until 6:30 so everything is set up before he gets here.
Lily, I'm getting home at four, so any time you want to come to bring the cake after that, it's fine. In fact, anyone who wants to get here earlier is more than welcome.

A giant tent is going up in the backyard, but it's those ones that you can open the sides, so we'll see what the weather is like.

Regulus has dealt with food, so expect some fancy food, but if you want to bring crap food like crispies and lots of chocolate feel free.

Also if I forgot to invite anyone, let me know. And if you tell Remus, I will tell Snape that you're trying to poison him and let him deal with you. (Actually I don't know if that's an accurate threat since I don't know the man, but whatever I'll do something horrible.)

So Delphine mentioned doing something for Remus' birthday and I know Jamie mentioned something for his birthday and with the fact that his birthday is on the full moon, I'm sure the best he'll want to do is sleep, maybe we can come up with something that he will appreciate, but not make him want to strangle all of us for over doing it. Or at least very least plan different things for different days so it's not too overwhelming.
