The Schism

Morning to all,

Viktor and I wanted to share some news with all of you. I know there were questions about why we rushed through the engagement and wedding after dating for so many years.

I'm happy to tell you all that I'm pregnant. Due to my age there was a high risk of miscarriage and we didn't want to let anyone know until the end of the first trimester. Today we're starting the second trimester and we're ecstatic. The due date is the 23rd of August.

I've sent a separate message to Bill and his family about this for obvious reason.

I suspended Montague and I've taken over running of the Squad.

I'm sending out a memo shortly to the department but I wanted you to have a head's up. I don't doubt the press will comment on it because Montague will complain loudly about how mistreated he is.

I say suspended rather than fired because I know he'll bitch about not having a fair trial. I've got a month's worth of private investigation that show he isn't fit for purpose so that should be fun.

I don't have a lot to say, but Vic & I realized that none of us have reached out personally.

We wanted to thank everyone who has given us and our parents space at this time, and to those who have been careful with what they have said in public. We'd like to give Louis the last little bit of dignity if at all possible, by encouraging people to remember him as he was, rather than what we understand to have happened and would like to thank everybody who has helped with that.

Mum & Dad will be in contact shortly regarding a memorial, which we would like to be for anybody who knew him well.

So the rest of you all know, Bill and Fleur have asked me to act as the official family spokesperson, deal with the press inquiries and whatever law enforcement needs. Neither of them, nor the girls, need or want to be dealing with this right now.

Obviously, you will still need to answer questions from the taskforce regarding your whereabouts, etc. And, if you're so inclined, you can give reporters a statement regarding your personal feelings on Louis' loss. But, as a general rule, any questions or requests for information from press or DMLE should come through me. I'll handle any official statements on behalf of the family as well.

Mum's opening up the Burrow if family and friends want to congregate there so Fleur doesn't have to worry about playing hostess on top of everything.

I'm sorry to do this by message, since I would have loved to do it in person, but I saw reporters and I'm sure this is about to break, and no one needs to read it from the journals.

I found Louis dead this morning. He was a victim of this killer. It must have happened a few days ago, which explains why he wasn't at the wedding.

Dad was at the scene and Emil Lebeau is in charge of the case. I've not included Mum in this since she's on her honeymoon.

Viktor and I have picked a date for the wedding. It will be on Tuesday, February 4 in New Sofia.

On Monday, he's being honoured by the International Quidditch League at a gala in Sofia, so most of the Quidditch world will be there as well, and we figured that it's the only way to get people there when the National teams are playing the first and the eight.

Official invitations will be sent out tomorrow as well as official announcement in the papers.

- Entrance to the resort is limited to people who have paid for the dinner and people staying at the hotel
- The resort opened at 10am except for hotel guests
- There was a buffet lunch on the beach.
- There was a sit down dinner starting at 7.
- Starting at 11, there was music, dancing and swimming
- At midnight, there were fireworks. Partying ended at 1am, but guests were allowed to stay and swim
- Hotel guests and anyone paying for the dinner would get discounted entrance to Wonderland. Partying at Wonderland started at 11pm with a toast a midnight, but the night didn't really start until 1am

- There are tables with hors d'oeuvres and drink along Main Street
- In Freedom Circle, there is a queue to ride floating cars that will take people through the different neighborhoods. In the neighborhoods, there are corresponding queues to take people to other neighborhoods or back to Freedom Circle. Lisa is still not happy about this method of transportation and working to change it.
- The neighborhoods are only partially built with lots of room to expand.

Sorry for the lack of communication but well, I am on my honeymoon after all. Which is going swimmingly, my sandcastle building skills are far superior to Jamie’s (he’ll tell you otherwise but don’t listen). Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, hopefully Moony II has been dropping off presents for you all.

I'm assuming you've all seen The Quibbler this morning. It's fair to say that Molly and Arthur know, I don't need to go into the details.

Just a head's up that you might not want to mention me, the article or Malfoy in front of them for a while.

I'm not going to be at the Burrow for Christmas. However, if anybody wants to come over to mine for lunch instead, I'll get food catered in. Just let me know.

To my fans,

My husband, Teddy and I would like to thank you for all of your support. I must ask you that you do not attack journalists for doing their job. We, indeed, got married twice at the time that Ms. Skeeter published her article. She did speak with us about it and we confirmed it. Since then we married once more while in Bulgaria.

This is not a publicity stunt as some foreign publications have suggested. We love each other and we plan on getting married in as many countries as we can.

Indeed we got married in France as you all know and we did get married in Bulgaria before the match. We probably will get married in many more countries and no, Grandma, we're not getting divorced. I hope soon enough people will stop caring.

PS I have included Teddy's family. Yes they are called Malfoys. People don't say anything stupid.

I've authorized the new exchange program coming out of the conference. Yes, I know no one likes it. Yes, we're used to doing things our way. No, I really don't care since we haven't been doing so well lately and if there are new things we can learn, we should.

We're starting only with one person for patrol. He/She will be arriving tomorrow. You should get a file today to pass down to head of the Squad. Be nice and tell your people to be nice.

Also the wedding was beautiful. I'd congratulate you, but we know if you and/or Ginny had arranged it, it would have gone pear-shaped. Jamie and Teddy did a great job. I will congratulate you for not ruining the night by doing something stupid like dancing with Malfoy or kissing him or whatever else. Jamie might have killed you and none of the witnesses could have even testified against him because of the oaths. Perfect crime on his part.

- The main room has been turned into a 'dining room'
- Guests were allowed to see the museum after hours
- The spell was done first and the grooms were only 15 minutes late. If you were late you missed it
- Both Jamie and Teddy are wearing robe from a new designer.
- The meal is all buffet with no tables assigned (Jamie says people can fuck off, he's not making lists for 300 people)
- There are present besides the families, Aurors, members of the Dept. of Sports, Quiddith owners, players and referees, reporters, members of the DA with relatives. Molly and Arthur have shown up mostly because they don't want Lucius to look like the 'good guy' (If you need a reason why someone is there we'll find it).
- A smaller, adjacent room has been turned into a dance floor with a band playing.
- Reporters aren't allowed to report on the families.
