Is it weird to feel like this is a little normal? People with jobs, going to school... except most of the people you know are gone, or missing, or dead, or zombies. I don't know how I feel about this. I don't like feeling trapped, and that's just how I feel.

I set up our usual modifications to avoid accidental touching. I fed Digby and gave him lots of pets. He's happy. I think he misses Olive. I miss Olive. We should never have left assuming the worst, we should have kept looking.

So...I survive zombies for two and and a half months, so that I can go back to college and pretend nothing happened. Wow...the government really does take denial to a whole new level.
What the hell is this? And please, save all of your sarcastic remarks. If someone asks me 'where have you been?' one more time, I think I might crack.

I cannot believe that I'm supposed to just go back to college like nothing ever happened. If that isn't a sign that the government is still as screwed up as ever in charge, I'm not sure what is.
