What: Doom.

Over the last few days, citizens have noticed a rising number of zombies. To counteract this, soldier patrols have increased and barricades have been built to reinforce the city borders. Concerns are present among the population, but work and school schedules continue as usual. The city is prepared to face what's outside.

What no one expected, though, is for a threat to rise from within.

Just as the zombie hordes have been congregating on the streets, a miniature colony of virulent bodies has been brewing inside the bodies of four people -- two adults, one teen, and one child. The early signs of the infection were assumed to be symptoms of the common cold. After all, how could the father be infected when he hadn't even been bitten?

Later, people may realize that the virus will spread via saliva, too, and that they ought to check themselves for any scrapes and abrasions. For now, though, all people know is that suddenly, chaos erupts in three separate places.

At his home in the UMCB district, Patient Zero converts. His wife, who had gone into work, converts within the walls of the UMCB. Their two children, ages 10 and 15, convert in their classrooms at school.

• Patient Zero, drawn out into the streets after his conversion, meets up with a small group of other shufflers. They roam through the district for a brief time, seeking sustenance, before getting shot by team of soldiers and cops.


• At the hospital, control is gained over the situation fairly rapidly, but not before the infection is spread -- multiple people are removed from the scene after being bitten.


• The infected children make more headway, terrorizing the school, making it outdoors, and eventually meeting up with another sparse pack of zombies. By the time they are corralled and put down, more bites are reported.

All bitten individuals are taken to the downtown quarantine center by soldiers and any available friends and family. Injured individuals who report no contact or proximity to zombies are taken to the UMCB facilities, checked for bite wounds, and treated on a case-by-case basis. Injured or blood-covered individuals who report contact and proximity to zombies are quarantined as a precaution.

Who: The Speed Dating Pairs and Open to ANYONE
Where: The Bar in the Capitol District.
What: The Bar’s very first event -- Speed Dating <3
When: September 1st, 2019 - 5:00-7:30PM

After meticulous planning and tireless promotion the time had come. A banner was hung over the bar that read Be Bitten By Love in big bold letters, with gold heart streamers and red twinkle lights strung throughout the first floor of the bar. It all looked vaguely like the place was decorated for valentine’s day, but classier -- at least that’s what Demi would argue. The Bar was buzzing with excitement, the prospect of something fun and dare say almost normal seemed to have the staff in high spirits...if not the patrons taking part in speed dating that evening. The music playing in the background was quiet classical music, just loud enough to fill any silences that may fall between pairs, but not so loud that nobody would be able to talk over it. Upon entering the bar that evening participants were greeted by a smiling staff person, given a name tag and then lead to the section designated for their preferred preference. A couple waiters and waitresses were on hand and moving through the crowd taking drink orders and encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves! Once the evening began Demi and Cherry gave a brief rundown of the rules (the few that they had), mapped out the flow of the evening, explained that once the chime sounded it was time to move onto your next match and again encouraged everyone to take advantage of the evening and wished them all good luck.
