IT'S TIME! The Savannah Posey Community Center is decked out for the holidays and four different stations are set up among the main floor. Appetizers, water, and non-alcoholic beverages are available as well. Here's how to participate: 1) Each attending character will be able to buy up to four tickets. 2) Participating characters may not vote. 3) Comment under the voting header to leave your characters' votes. 4) Make sure to leave all voting comments by Friday, December 16. Remember, the most popular district will get some sort of prize! 5) Use the voting header comments to discuss headcanoned/handwaved interactions or set up scenes! 6) If you want to scene any interactions, placehold or thread under the scenes header! No need to tag your character in the post if you don't scene.

In a development that, in hindsight, feels almost inevitable, the barriers at Walker’s and on the edge of the UMCB and Capitol districts are overrun. At Walker’s grocery store, a stampede of frightened shoppers becomes easy prey for the shufflers on the scene. Though the situation is not out of control for long, casualties occur and several people are taken to quarantine. Downtown, the undead surge through the streets, grabbing pedestrians and halting traffic until, finally, they too are corralled.

For all intents and purposes, feel free to headcanon that this plot will wrap by 4:30PM this day.

After meticulous planning and tireless promotion the time had come. A banner was hung over the bar that read Be Bitten By Love in big bold letters, with gold heart streamers and red twinkle lights strung throughout the first floor of the bar. It all looked vaguely like the place was decorated for valentine’s day, but classier -- at least that’s what Demi would argue. The Bar was buzzing with excitement, the prospect of something fun and dare say almost normal seemed to have the staff in high spirits...if not the patrons taking part in speed dating that evening. The music playing in the background was quiet classical music, just loud enough to fill any silences that may fall between pairs, but not so loud that nobody would be able to talk over it. Upon entering the bar that evening participants were greeted by a smiling staff person, given a name tag and then lead to the section designated for their preferred preference. A couple waiters and waitresses were on hand and moving through the crowd taking drink orders and encouraging everyone to enjoy themselves! Once the evening began Demi and Cherry gave a brief rundown of the rules (the few that they had), mapped out the flow of the evening, explained that once the chime sounded it was time to move onto your next match and again encouraged everyone to take advantage of the evening and wished them all good luck.
