Title: Holiday Memories
Notes: I haven't written a drabble in almost two months so I hope I'm not too out of practice. I'm trying to get back on track for 2010.
Condom: Debbie

“Christmas was nice. Everyone made it but Gus, and he’ll be home for New Year’s. Carl’s daughter canceled again. She swears she’ll be here for his eightieth birthday next month. We’ll see.”

“Michael tried moving Christmas to Britin. Says it’s too much for me. Over my dead body, I told him,” Debbie laughed. “Little shit’s so afraid I’ll keel over at any minute, he barely argued.”

“Emmett made your feast of fishes for Christmas Eve. You’re always there in spirit, but it’s not the same. I still miss you, Little Brother.” Debbie sighed and brushed the snow off Vic’s grave.

Title: Blame It on the Punch (and Justin)
Notes: Thank you to [info]xie_xie_xie for her beta on short notice! This is based on a bunny that [info]not_yet_defined posted a while back at [info]qaf_bunnies, requesting something based on the icon I used here. Thanks NY, for the idea! Icon by the incomparable [info]url_grl over at Live Journal.
And the condom goes to: Brian Kinney.

Later, Brian blamed the spiked office party punch. And Justin.

Never mind that Brian had spiked (and drunk a lot of) it himself -- and encouraged Justin when he’d started singing and dancing to “Santa Baby” during Ted’s holiday toast.

It had become obvious that Ted was rambling and wasn’t going to stop without some sort of intervention. So when Justin started singing and pushing his ass against Brian’s crotch, Brian felt it was his duty as the boss to sing along, loudly, grinding into Justin as he did.

Later, Brian also felt that Ted’s subsequent raise was worth it.

Title: Trade Secrets
Author:
Prompt: Author's Choice

A/N: I got into the habit of writing a drabble (or five) every day for the Gusmas challenge, and can't seem to shut off the fount. That could be a good thing, I suppose. This is a continuation from that verse.

Condom: Jennifer

Jennifer sat at the table with a cup of coffee, joining Justin.

“What time do you leave?” she asked.

“Eight, tomorrow morning.” He sighed.

“Getting homesick already?”

“I never really thanked you properly for helping Brian get the house ready. It’s amazing.”

“When we have a house like that to move, we dress it out, like a new model home. The trick was to mesh the style of the house to Brian’s style. Not an easy task.”

“How often did you butt heads?”

“Not often at all. He knew what he wanted.”

“A big bed?”

“No, honey. To please you.”

The 37 Days of Gusmas are over! [Jan. 2nd, 2010|05:19 pm]

Well, the 37 Days of Gusmas Drabble Celebration has come to an end, and what a party it was! There were literally hundreds of drabbles written, which is great, since each one adds up to a dollar donation to the Ali Forney Center for LGBT homeless youth. Thanks to everyone who participated!

'm going to be tallying up the entries and figuring out the prizes and winners over the next few days. Please, if you're at all unsure if you tagged your drabble(s) with the "Gusmas" tag, go back and do it now! It's the tag I'll be using to count them!

In the meantime, this asylum will be doing an "Author's Choice" drabble prompt until the regular schedule resumes this coming Wednesday.

That means you can write your drabbles about any earlier prompt, or really, anything at all as long as it's within the regular guidelines of the asylum. You can award your condoms to any character, as well.

So have fun, and again, thank you for playing, and Happy Gusmas to you all!
