[Now that everyone's had a chance for a nice meal, a hot shower and plenty of rest in comfortable beds, it's time for a little celebration. It's Valentine's Day! And Rainbow Bridge won't let anyone miss that, with cute and colorful decorations showing up all over the place.

Hearts, ribbons, flowers, teddy bears, and candy motifs everywhere you look, shops will carry relevant items for the occasion, if you want to have a romantic day or show a friend your appreciation. However, it won't be all that happens.



Whenever you're close to someone you appreciate in some way, a valentine's day card might show up! To save you the trouble of getting your own, have magically generated cards available. They'll have a feature where they read what's written on them out loud, so everyone can know how you really feel!

And this time, you might be sharing it with even more people. After the world changed again into its normal form, everyone was given something new - a communicator. These cute smartphone-like gadgets can show both text and video, and they're linked to everyone else's communicator! You can send a private message to a single person, or broadcast something for everyone to see!]

[Forget about any plans you had for the following days. Whatever you had in mind, it'll all be postponed as the entire world changes. That's right, starting today and for a couple of weeks, the entire land will shift and change into something else - a deserted island.

Surrounded by the sea, and hosting a large jungle in the middle, you'll wake up to find yourselves in what's seemingly the middle of nowhere, on this empty island you'll now have to survive in. Gone are the usual comforts of hot water and easy meals, and instead you'll have to hunt and build your own shelter to survive the days and nights here.

To help you out with this task, you'll have a few things available. Scattered nearby when you wake up in this new land, you'll find knives, backpacks with a few extra clothes, some rope, buckets, and a few other utensils. Those who already owned guns or swords can keep them for the time being, although magic powers won't be working for the duration of the scenery change. If you venture into the jungle, you'll find a few abandoned huts, with some repairs needed to be usable but better than the sand outside.




It's probably a good time to team up with others, combine forces to make the best of a less than ideal situation. While there's fish to catch in the sea and in the lakes inside the island, and wild animals to catch everywhere, the night will bring out predators, and you want to be ready to protect yourselves.]

[The end of the year is fast approaching, and Rainbow Bridge knows it. You'll start noticing shops and buildings putting up holiday decorations, themed music playing now and then, and cafes and restaurants offering themed treats for the season.

More importantly, there'll be a big party, and everyone's invited! Over at Tourmaline City, there'll be a massive ballroom occupied for the celebration, fully decorated and filled with delicious food and drinks for everyone to share.

Of course, it's a magical invitation - you don't really have a choice. You'll show up at the ballroom, now dressed prettily for the occasion, and won't be able to leave the building until you've spent at least a good while mingling with others.



And to help socialize with other guests, you'll find a familiar plant hanging around here and there, showing up uninvited when you least expect it. Mistletoe is back to stick people together underneath it, making the people trapped kiss, hug, even slap each other and all sorts of other things.

If you find it to be too obnoxious, well, that's what the abundance of drinks are there for!]

[Tonight, you might've been already asleep, comfortable in your own bed (or coffin - we don't judge). Or maybe you were staying up late, busy with various things or simply hanging out for a while. Either way, you'll now find yourself asleep, in a bed. A bed that might not be your own. It might be an abandoned bed in one of the many empty hotel rooms, varying in comfort levels, or even in a room at the Crimson Keep, if you're unlucky enough.



And of course, you'll have company. People will pair up in beds across the world, to wake up next to friends and strangers alike. A perfect way to start up a conversation, wouldn't you say? Which you'll have to do, as the world's magic won't let either of you leave the bed until you've at least chatted for a while. It's all about interactions here, and you can't just leave your bed companion to be bored during the time spent with you. It's simple manners, okay. And to help things along, you might find that bowls with snacks appear, ready to be shared by the two people in the bed. It's like your own mini pijama party of two.]

[Today near Sunset Village you'll be able to see a new spot, a big table set up with a large colorful sign surrounded by glitter and paper stars. The sign reads:

Ask about anything!

And what does that mean? Exactly what it sounds like. Sitting at the table you'll find Mokona, usually snacking on a thing or two, and if you sit with her you'll be able to ask Mokona about anything troubling your mind. Life advice! Entirely for free!

If you might not be the type to be curious and try to start a conversation, you might still find yourself sitting at the table despite it all, and unable to leave unless you get at least one piece of advice. This world has decided the magical part will be more literal.

Not only that! You might find yourself on the other side of the table as well, ready to give others your own advice. Mokona's very busy and needs assistants, afterall!]

[As many probably noticed, Spring has arrived! Here to annoy those used to a different hemisphere, Spring brings nice warm weather and an abundance of flowers to the land. And they're the star today!

Flowers will have bloomed everywhere, taking over every spot of green there is to find. To take advantage of the lovely scenario, there'll be picnic blankets and baskets set out for people to use! With perfectly safe picnic food to eat for free.



Of course, the problem isn't the food itself. Depending on the time of the day, the flowers will start acting up. By the morning they'll be harmless flowers, just there to decorate and look pretty. By midday, they'll start releasing pollen that might affect people in various ways - maybe make them only speak in truths or lies, cause them to feel more lovey-dovey than usual, or act irritable or jealous for no reason, and so on. By evening, the flowers will end all attempts to behave nicely and grow in size, choosing to attack the innocent picnickers who waited so long.

So either have a lovely time sharing a meal with a loved one, or beware strange behaviors, or... run for your life? How dangerous can flowers get?]

[After bleeding everywhere for a day, I'm sure many won't feel clean again for a long time. But that's where today can help you! You've received items for a personal spa day before, now get ready for a full spa day!

Everyone will receive a personal invitation to a luxurious, huge spa in Tourmaline City, ready to clean and destress everyone who attends. Massage tables, facials, manicures, skin care, and of course massive heated baths to soak in for a good while. There's also a lounging area where you can relax while in your spa bathrobes, have some food, chat with others.

Did you not feel like attending? You might find yourself magically transported there anyway, already changed into appropriate clothes and ready to relax, or else. You might even end up as part of the staff, having to attend to the customers' needs! So if you don't want to end up rubbing someone's feet, perhaps it's best you accept the invitation and come here on your own.]

[It seemed like it was just another ordinary day. People could come and go, attend their jobs, go on quests if they felt like it, or simply laze around as the week ends.

But then, a drop. And another. And suddenly it's clear something's happening. Blood, fresh human blood is dripping from some people's hands, seemingly out of nowhere - there won't be any open wounds to worry about. And for some people, it'll be more than a few drops, covering their hands, even their arms or the rest of their bodies.

What's the catch? This mysterious blood only appears on those who have killed before. It will come and go, allowing for people to clean up only to show up again pouring out of their hands. And along with the blood, for some there will be feelings of regret, or discomfort, as if they'd just freshly killed and had to carry that burden of guilt with them. It seems like the amount of blood will also match those feelings, so that if someone feels particularly conflicted, they'll be pouring much more of it, while someone who feels no remorse might handle it better.

At least the blood won't be there forever, and it will eventually stop. But until then, enjoy ruining your clothes.]

[It's June, and this, at least in certain areas of the multiverse, means it's Pride Month! To celebrate what might be an inexplicable celebration to many travelers, there'll be decorations showing up here and there in various common areas, like the reception, hotels, cafeterias, etc.

Of course, seeing rainbow parafernalia in Rainbow Bridge might not mean much to anyone, right? But there'll also be little themed flags available to purchase, as well as pronoun pins and flag badges here and there, some even in the leftover baskets from the spa day, lying around ready for anyone to grab one for themselves.



But what if you still don't understand the meanings? Well, certain people - random travelers, or some residents - will have a role assigned these days as "Pride Expert", carrying a badge with that name on their clothes as they use their expertise to clear any doubts anyone might have. You're not an expert and you got stuck with a badge still? Too bad! Try to figure out some answers as you go! You don't want to ruin Pride afterall, do you?]

[Good news! In an attempt to make up for past disasters caused by magic, today you'll get a nice treat, courtesy of the same magic. In baskets in your rooms and lying around the different towns and cities, you'll find all sorts of pampering items - scented soaps, perfumes, bath bombs, soft towels, lotions and other such items to have a personal spa day.



Bad news! You'll likely need to take a personal day off, as throughout the day more and more people will fall sick all of a sudden. Headaches, sniffles, general aching and tiredness, all determined to keep you in bed for the day.

Hopefully you're staying with someone who's escaped the sudden colds and can help take care of you for the time being, otherwise good luck to you.]

[Effects of previous days might've vanished by now, but still, today won't be your luckiest day. Today there's an eclipse in the sky, and to those who are more used to magical worlds, it might be a more obvious sign that something will inevitably go wrong.

As the night falls, certain areas will become busier - forests and swamps where creatures crawl will see their numbers suddenly rise, and these extra animals and monsters need somewhere to go.

Even if you're in a safer area, you might run into one of them. Maybe something as harmless as a a deer, or something much more sinister waiting for you outside your house, walking into stores, in the various routes, even within lakes and the sea.

So watch out, because this will be a very long night.]

Perhaps they've overslept and are late to their jobs, or other plans. Or they burnt a special meal they were cooking. Or they'll find the route they were taking is blocked by a fallen tree. Or a wild animal took over their house. Or the shops have ran out of the items they wanted to buy. Maybe they'll just fall sick and have to take the day off.

The point is, luck is not favoring you, or anyone, today. Perhaps taking the day off really is the best option, for now.]

[It's Valentine's Day! And the world seems to want to make sure no one forgets it. Wherever you go today, it's likely you'll see cute red and white decorations in shops, hotels and various locations, notice a lot more flowers even outside of the most floral towns, and of course... there's the chocolate.

Chocolate fountain displays, piles of bonbons and chocolate bars, even some hot chocolate to drink, it's impossible to miss on the sweets available at each corner of the world today. More importantly, while you may buy a more customized order at shops, many of these tables set up with candy are completely free to sample!



Some of the residents which have been to other worlds like this one might remember, though, never to trust free magical food. The chocolate available will soon cause those eating it to act funny - maybe they're cuddlier than usual. Or act silly like they've drunk a bit too much. Maybe they feel like complimenting passerbys, asking them for a sudden date, or find themselves harboring deep feelings for them that weren't there before. All in the spirit of the celebration, of course! But fear not, as the effects won't last too long. Just enough to be embarrassed for a while.]

['Tis the season.

The season for arrivals.

Such as snow, for example. Well, it's technically not the season, given it's summer, but at the same time it's the holiday season, and so it's definitely the season for it. It doesn't matter if you try to argue against this perfect logic, because in any case the snow will arrive - a subtle frost first, then a solid white blanket covering it all. From the mountains in the Crimson Woods to the prairies near Sunset Village, but particularly around the south, at Tourmaline City and the port areas; roofs, pathways, parks, ponds and gardens will turn into a winter fantasyland, ideal for snow angels, sliding on sleighs, skating.... or simply staying home, cursing the weather from within a blanket coccoon. In fact, if you were lacking winter clothes in your closet, it's a great time to go stock up in stores, which will temporarily carry coats and scarves. Or you could just grab hot chocolate that will be sold around every corner. Or maybe join in on the holiday cheer and hang fairy lights or garlands, set up a colorful tree in your home, even buy some last-minute gifts.



But that's not all that will be arriving, although this other visit might not be as obvious. It will start sneakily creeping up some tree branches, hanging from unaware lintels, even showing up floating above the heads of careless victims, until it achieves its goal. This tenacious invader of green leaves and red fruits won't disappear until those underneath it do the traditional kiss, so you better watch your surroundings. It's mistletoe season too, afterall, and these are as magical as they are capricious.

Will that be all that arrives? Maybe. Christmas and New Year are coming up, so these days will have many different things approaching at high speed.

Perhaps somewhere out there, there's a boat, approaching slowly but surely across the sea, and some music that can be heard stronger and stronger at a distance... What is it?

Well, you'll know when it arrives. But most likely it's nothing short of all your dreams come true.]

[As repeatedly pointed out, we're still in the warmer time of the year, and these past days it's been impossible not to notice, with hotter and more humid days making life far less tolerable overall.

A perfect time to remind everyone there's large beaches available to them! People will get pamphlets in their mail, or find them at the hotels they might be staying at, all promoting the same place - the beaches next to Indigo Port.

The colorful papers indicate there'll be a special, one-of-a-kind treat if you choose to go there this weekend, so it might be enough to interest even those who are more reluctant, or who prefer hanging by the lake instead. Once arriving, they'll see this grand offer refers to banana boats set out for people to use!



Hey, they're still pretty fun. And even if you don't engage in banana fun, there's the sea to cool you down, the sand to rest, beach balls to play games with, and plenty of refreshing fruity drinks available at shops, all ready to make sure you still have a good time.]

[December starts, and this means... capitalism holidays! To aid with the noble goal of spending cash on silly presents, the world will link to a new area full of massive shopping mall. These will have just about anything you could need to give the perfect gift to someone special during the upcoming holidays, or to help decorate your likely rather empty homes with new garlands, snow globes and other things.

Does it feel silly to be placing snowy and winter-related items during what's clearly summer time? Welcome to southern hemisphere life!]



[These shops will not only let you find all sorts of odd items, you'll be able to trade in far more rare or weird ones as well - a shop might accept a lock of hair, for example, or even some drops of blood in exchange for a nice pile of money to spend around. Creepy, yes, but convenient, don't start with silly complaints about ethics or basic decency.]

[It's been a gradual progression in the spirit of the season as decorations and preparations continue to expand beyond the cities and towns - spooky little lanterns strung together across any number of outdoor paths, fake decorative spiderwebs and clusters of bats, pumpkins all grouped up together and also seen spread out along many areas in a variety of patterns and designs. It's a feeling that's been building up the more the weeks progress, more merchants and shops joining into the fray of costumes, treats, and masks as if to tell of what's to come.

When the day itself arrives, it's no ordinary start to the celebration. A mysterious main area opens up beyond the outskirts of the major towns, welcoming all travelers and residents alike, and decorated fully in intense blends of orange, black and purples. There are special vendors and banners strewn above trees along with all the previous arrangements of pumpkins and lights, although even with lights and during the day, there's still a certain feeling and a sense of the dark in the night that lingers here.



Whatever lingers when you cross the threshold in, the reason why isn't necessarily obvious: a fragment of another world has connected to a bridge and established itself here. Not just with strong connections to the Halloween festivities at large, but something beyond. Many of the people gathered here will be donning masks of all sorts, welcoming and encouraging others to come within this space between worlds, to partake in the celebration, offering candies, treats and merrymaking. Haven't chosen a costume? Don't be surprised if a masked individual casts a spell to dress you up for the day or shares a mask with you to have. Feeling wary of the decorative entrance of the main area? A silly poof of purple smoke will drop you in for the fun.

All well and good if that were all that this place brought with it to the land of seven colors. You see, certain masked individuals will be more than they appear. Spirits from beyond the worlds have taken up these masks to disguise themselves in order to steal your very own vital energy, tricking and luring some in with anything from music and dance to the deception of someone you love beneath the mask, surely if you could just get one closer look...

As the feast goes on, some spirits won't bother with gimmicks, attacking any target they deem vulnerable enough, so be careful of wandering the dark alone tonight - nothing is ever what it seems]

[If you happen to be travelling outside Sunset Village, you might've noticed this little group of a white-haired dude and his nearly equally as white-haired daughter, going back and forth from the town, carrying things over to a wooden house a little further past the train station, along the mostly empty greener areas past the Village itself.

Nothing too extraordinary, but someone clearly settling in might feel a little unusual given most people were initially told there were no permanent residents yet, and told of the fleeting nature of this world. Maybe you wonder how are they managing to purchase multiple items already. Perhaps you received your own charm, or requested to stay longer, and would like to chat to people in the same situation.

Or maybe you're just stopping by to listen to the third person involved - the bard, who doesn't seem to be helping much at all, unless you count his music lifting everyone's spirits... supposedly.]

[WELCOME TO RAINBOW BRIDGE!

That's the first you hear, once you walk into this world. It's easy to see the reason for the name, having just crossed a bridge lit up in all the colors of the rainbow.

Whether you're from a different magical world, or consider the concept of magic a silly thing from movies and games, you'll still receive the proper welcome, and everything that comes with it - some information about this country, a map, directions, and explanations as to how there should be a residents list, but it seems empty at the moment.

But it doesn't end there! It's not just that you're now visiting a magical country with plenty of sights to see and places to explore, with different towns and cities, long roads across swamps, dunes and a large lake, even creepy castles by some cliffs and the dangerous forests surrounding them. No, this week they're also celebrating the arrival of Spring!



While some of the areas are naturally flowery and pretty (like EverGreen Town), it'll all still be noticeably decorated for the date, with flower garlands and bouquets everywhere, flower petals falling around and the perfume of flowers in the air, while NPC travelers will have flowery-patterned clothes, flowers in their hair or hats, and so on. Carriages taking you from place to place might be decorated as well, or you might spot horses with pretty arrangements in their manes.

You'll also be able to find seasonal treats at places like the bakery and the big community kitchen at Sunset Village, or the restaurants at Tourmaline City, or find cute colorful outfits at their clothing shops.

EverGreen Town will be thriving, with big sales on herbs, all sorts of spices, wines and ingredients, and obviously flowers, plants and decorations made with them. The plaza will be full of vendors but also people playing music and dancing through the days - a rare time for those in this town to be a little louder and outgoing.

Even at places like the creepy Crimson Keeps, you might be able to find rare treasure in the form of flower-shaped gems and jewellery!


So it's definitely not a bad time to arrive here - surely that initial confusion and outrage at being separated from your home or loved ones will go away much faster while you join the celebrations, right? Who can stay mad or anxious while wearing a freshly made flower crown?]]
