['Tis the season.

The season for arrivals.

Such as snow, for example. Well, it's technically not the season, given it's summer, but at the same time it's the holiday season, and so it's definitely the season for it. It doesn't matter if you try to argue against this perfect logic, because in any case the snow will arrive - a subtle frost first, then a solid white blanket covering it all. From the mountains in the Crimson Woods to the prairies near Sunset Village, but particularly around the south, at Tourmaline City and the port areas; roofs, pathways, parks, ponds and gardens will turn into a winter fantasyland, ideal for snow angels, sliding on sleighs, skating.... or simply staying home, cursing the weather from within a blanket coccoon. In fact, if you were lacking winter clothes in your closet, it's a great time to go stock up in stores, which will temporarily carry coats and scarves. Or you could just grab hot chocolate that will be sold around every corner. Or maybe join in on the holiday cheer and hang fairy lights or garlands, set up a colorful tree in your home, even buy some last-minute gifts.

But that's not all that will be arriving, although this other visit might not be as obvious. It will start sneakily creeping up some tree branches, hanging from unaware lintels, even showing up floating above the heads of careless victims, until it achieves its goal. This tenacious invader of green leaves and red fruits won't disappear until those underneath it do the traditional kiss, so you better watch your surroundings. It's mistletoe season too, afterall, and these are as magical as they are capricious.

Will that be all that arrives? Maybe. Christmas and New Year are coming up, so these days will have many different things approaching at high speed.

Perhaps somewhere out there, there's a boat, approaching slowly but surely across the sea, and some music that can be heard stronger and stronger at a distance... What is it?

Well, you'll know when it arrives. But most likely it's nothing short of all your dreams come true.]

[On top of that magical boat, there's two people who're happy to finally be reaching some solid ground again, as the alternative was wandering through the connections between worlds.

And now they're ready to disembark and start exploring, and most importantly look for a certain third party member that they've been missing all this time. You'll hear this very tall guy laughing with his much shorter companion as they arrive to the port, claiming to be a King of some sort, and commenting on the music, which was not coming from the boat and instead seems to be playing in thin air around everyone.]

Wait, wait. I thought we were doing the Mean Girls one.

[It's lucky both magicians aboard the ship don't get seasick (anymore, at least), or that would have been a very long and unpleasant trip. Even more so in her case, since she has been travelling between universes a little longer than his companion, fetching him first and then continuing in the search of the other loser she was missing in her life.

And thus, with a little help from a trickster god (nothing new in their lives), they have arrived indeed.]

Of course we are, dummy. That was just a little thematic foreboding to spice things up. The Jaws theme doesn't exactly go with the holidays, does it? Now, where the hell is that fricking hobbit?

[You might see them later-- they will pretty be hard to miss on top of that unexplicable stage right in the city center, dressed as sexy Santas and dancing and singing to that song as God (and the internet meme) intended. With the help of a little musical spell you might be drawn to join in the singing, and maybe that certain fricking hobbit will get there too, eventually. Their main talent is to atracct attention and you fucking bet they are going to use it.]

[Lo encontrarán relativamente pronto, porque para eso tienen hechizos rastreadores. En donde sea que esté Quentin, se cruzará con un avioncito de papel que lo está buscando, indicándole que vaya al puerto a verlos pronto.]

[Allá en el escenario improvisado que armaron, al menos su traje de santa no involucra la minifalda, por una vez escogiendo no ser tan escandaloso. Lo que sí va a hacer luego de un par de veces de cantar, es volver a usar magia para encantar a gente que pase por ahí, de modo que decidan unirse y cantar y bailar la canción al menos una vez para su entretenimiento, y el de todos.]

Ah, mucho mejor así. [Le da espacio para admirar el espectáculo y sacar su botellita de ron para un muy necesario trago luego de viajes interdimensionales.]
