halloween event!

Halloween event plotting! The idea is the following:

> the world will link up to a spooky land where festivities are being held - lantern decorations, pumpkins, etc across the bridge and paths to the main celebration area, with vending shops for candy, costumes and masks!
> NPCs wearing masks, the whole environment invites you to wear, but you also have the option to just make your character join in the fun, by magically shoving them towards the paths linking both places, the middle of festivities, giving them a mask and/or costume.

There'd be two paths to follow to play out the event:

> The sillier festival one - share candy, wear silly masks, have fun with friends and look at the new locations

and/or

> the creepier one! Some of the masked NPCs are spirits set on leeching off characters' vital energy, and will trick them and lure them aside (sometimes resembling a loved one), or even simply attack right away if they're in a vulnerable enough position (maybe wandering around alone?)

Giving us all a chance to test out the new charms, but also have fun potentially scaring and/or hurting our characters!

Use the comments to 1.- leave any feedback or questions you may have, and 2.- plot with others ahead of time!

¡Planes para el evento de Halloween! La idea es lo siguiente:

> el mundo se conectará con una tierra creepy donde se está celebrando, con decoraciones como linternas, calabazas etc en los puentes y caminos hacia el área principal del evento, donde habrá puestos de dulces, disfraces y máscaras.
> habrá NPCs con máscaras, todo el ambiente te invita a celebrar, PERO igual está la opción de simplemente obligar a tu personaje a participar en la diversión, mágicamente llevándolo hacia los caminos, o el medio del festival, y darles una máscara y/o traje.

Habría dos caminos para jugar el evento:

> la opción más silly del festival; compartir dulces, disfrazarse, divertirse con amigos y ver los nuevos espacios que hay

y/o

> la opción más terrible, donde algunos de los NPCs enmascarados son espíritus que buscan absorber la energía de los personajes, e intentarán engañarlos y llevarlos lejos (a veces asemejándose a alguien que conozcan), o simplemente atacándolos cuando estén en una posición vulnerable (quizá fueron a pasear o investigar solos).

Esto nos da una chance de probar los charms, y divertirnos con potencialmente asustar o lastimar a los personajes.

Listing the residents for now:

+ Eli (the character) will be having fun at the festival and getting sweets for Vic, be happier than he's been in a good while, and get attacked eventually so we can have fun with the charms and/or Victor torturing anything that tries to harm him.

He'd be available for festival shenanigans for the most part, and you can all meet his weird albino-ish boyfriend who seems 15+ years older than he is :>

+ Lou will be sulking and moody, as usual, if anyone wants a grouchy killjoy to hang out with. Should Lestat make it in time, it'll change things, but mostly in that they'll go lock themselves up together for like two weeks, oops.

+ Geralt shall be dragged into fun festival stuff with his family, and he's available for both the silly fluffy stuff as well as the creepier ones. He's a monster hunter, afterall, and he'll be super protective of his loved ones as usual.

+ Himmel is also available for both sides of the event, and he'll love everything about both. Silly costumes and games? Perfect. Saving the day as a Hero? Perfect as well.
