all day || outside sunset village
[If you happen to be travelling outside Sunset Village, you might've noticed this little group of a white-haired dude and his nearly equally as white-haired daughter, going back and forth from the town, carrying things over to a wooden house a little further past the train station, along the mostly empty greener areas past the Village itself.

Nothing too extraordinary, but someone clearly settling in might feel a little unusual given most people were initially told there were no permanent residents yet, and told of the fleeting nature of this world. Maybe you wonder how are they managing to purchase multiple items already. Perhaps you received your own charm, or requested to stay longer, and would like to chat to people in the same situation.

Or maybe you're just stopping by to listen to the third person involved - the bard, who doesn't seem to be helping much at all, unless you count his music lifting everyone's spirits... supposedly.]

[Watching him carry things twice the size a regular man would be able to isn't a bad sight by itself (blankets, clothes, massive piles of wood to store - last he recalled they were dealing with a blizzard, and he's not taking chances). And if you see him while he crosses paths with Ciri, it's a lot easier to see his bigh tough guy looks are rather deceiving, as he keeps joking around with her.

But he might be easier to approach later through the day when he's sat down outside next to piles of herbs, and is sorting through those carefully, eventually picking some to pummel into a mush with a mortar.]

[Ciri is in good spirits today, considering her desire to stay (completely fueled by her stuborness) got her a star charm and the little welcome message that marks her as a resident. Now comes settling down, something she has done plenty of times before in her world, in the last few months. But this time is different. This time, she feels like she gets to stay. Like she won't have to run away at the slightest threat.

Anyone passing by might see her pretending to be sneaky, jumping on Geralt's back and laughing while doing so. She doesn't seem to care that he's carrying some bags that look quite heavy and now has her added weight. Pros of having a strong dad.]

[To the credit of that sneak-attack, he does stumble slightly with the sudden addition of her weight, but he can handle it as she knows, so it mostly just makes him laugh a little in return.]

[Lucky at least Jaskier's around to make fun of him for it, because getting to be all cute and domestic feels a little empty without a certain someone to watch them be this way.]
