I've been really bloody useless at randomly updating you all, haven't I? Oops! I've just been really rather busy with work and I started taking muggle lessons at university.

So, what have you all been up to?

I see this place has been rather busy.

I think in a fit of temper everything that could break in my partment besides my moniter did. I felt my temper break and everything started rattling and shattering. I bought all seven of the blasted books and I have never been so angry in my entire life. It is placed and targeted at some things but most of it is just undirectional anger just at all of it.

While I like the lush apartment and all the stuff that goes with it I was used to my basement with my self installed carpet and my icebox I actually had to power with ice. The fact I can use a computer is freaking me out and I still can't get used to all this. Technology before the 1950s usually fritzes and explodes on me.

I know I am in some sort of alternate reality because Murphy always answers her phone or picks it up at least to yell at me. That and...there are gods and people from Oz and all sorts of other random things that shouldn't be in the natural world. I could figure it out better if I had Bob. I can't even get in contact with Thomas or Ebenezer.

I really don't want to start my business from scratch. It is hard to become credible when you put yourself in the phone book under Wizard.

Anyone seen Jamie? I went by his flat earlier and it was completely empty.

I'm going to go out tonight, I think. Does anybody want to join me?

I guess this place ain't so bad, after all.

But I mean, I ain't exactly used to it. I still don't really know how the hell I got from 1900, to 2008 in a few seconds, or somethin'..

But it's.. nice, I guess. Some of you ain't nothin' but a bunch of quacks, but I'm not complainin' much.

I have no bloody idea what the Twilight books are about. Something about a vampire that sparkles and teenage girls are going a bit gaga for it. Now people are returning the book because it was a disappointment. One girl started crying half way through the transaction and got so hysterical that I had to go to get her a glass of water to calm her down.

I don't understand what it is about these books that makes people go nuts about them. One girl even got slapped because she wore a t-shirt with a name on it. I think it was a spoiler but I was working the till and didn't hear about it until afterwards.

I never thought working in retail would be so interesting. I really need to get qualified to do something else or I'll curse the next person that asks if we have Shakespeare in English.

I swear I spend more time sitting alone in my flat than I do spending time with actual people. This is probably because my cousin practically lives with her bloody boyfriend. I'm just waiting for Jamie and Albus to have a Very Serious Talk with him. I wonder if they'll sell tickets to that, I'd like to see them try to be threatening.

I need to get out more, it's my birthday in a next month and I'm going to be twenty two. All I have to show for it is a qualification that means nothing outside of the wizarding world and a complete lack of social life. I suppose it could always be worse.

Things certainly are unique here. Living as I am isn't strange for me for the most part, it was how I grew up. It is just the subtle differences that remind me that I am ridiculously far from home.

I have been spending a great amount of time with my grandson. Albus is a precious young man if not disconcerting. He looks so much like James it is rather freakish at times. The only difference is those eyes. It is nice to know I left a legacy even if James gets to have little Potter clones every generation. Thankfully, Alby carries himself far differently than James does.

That young man he lives with is a peach as well. I thankfully have never met his grandparents but I know of the Malfoys by name. Scorpius seems like a very nice young man that many don't give a chance. It rather reminds me of Severus. I feel rather bad for the two of them. They are very much Romeo and Juliet like. I saw the reception the family gave poor Scorpius and I can only imagine how Scorpius' family reacts to Albus. I would hope that everyone would accept them after realizing how utterly smattered they are with each other. They do seem to make each other so happy. I think I might just have to box ears should anyone give them a hard time.

Oh! I garnered myself a job at a local used book shop. I have always loved the smell of old books. It is rather mesmerizing. I just couldn't take not having anything to do besides work on that potion with Albus.

How... disappointing.

Well, now. This could be something of a problem.

I don't think the iconic line "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore" could properly describe how I feel at the moment.

This is.. this is a great prank you guys, really. Jamie- you're hilarious. I think you've proved you're the better man here.

So, it would be helpful if the better man could put me back in the proper place. I'm thinking in a general now-ish sort of time.

It would seem to appear the world has misplaced me in my sleep.
