I never actually thought New York would be boring. (What's with that whole "City that never sleeps" thing?)

But there's just been nothing happening lately.

That was the shortest vacation I think I've ever taken. Okay, I lied. That was the only vacation I've ever taken. In the microscopically compact list of vacations, I think that might've also won for the best.

But. Heigh ho, it's back to work, I go.. Will the joy never cease?

I'm no longer in a cell. But the writing's still on the wall. She's here. I see the blood dripping from the bricks.

I need to find a Mommy for my new little family. Daddy's very lonely here.

That, and she probably would have smacked my hand for eating all these Reese's Eggs. But, just...look at them. They're so delectable and small. Like a handful of treasure, waiting to be popped into your mouth.

Oh, Treasure. ...God, I never thought I'd say this, but- I think I miss Ben.

Still unemployed, by the way. Y'know, in case somebody's in dire need of an assload little nerd computer expertise- I'm.. still here. Still.

Why, why, why are undergraduate students so stupid that they cannot grasp the basic facts of physics? These are people who want to major in the subject and yet they are far too stupid to grasp the basics! How my students managed to get into an Ivy League college is beyond me.

I think I should get a PhD student to teach these idiots and hope that by the time I teach them again that they can at least manage basic mathematics and know the simplest laws of physics!

Honestly. Idiots, the lot of them!

Ha! Well. My interview turned out to be a success. I now have a corporate position for Dunder Mifflin Paper. You are looking at Corporate's number 2 go-to guy.

I can very so easily fire Michael if I wanted to.

I need to get out of here for a while. Anybody interested in getting out?

Here I am. Back in New York City. Why?

I just have this small urge inside that makes me want to change and build on my career. So I am basically attempting another shot at a getting a Corporate position. For Dunder Mifflin Paper. Why? Because I am Jim. And the other part of me also likes to keep it the same.

... And by the looks of this place, why wouldn't I be surprised that Michael has been here?

Anybody want to go out tonight? I could use a drink.

Next time I decide to have a horror movie marathon, someone needs to smack me. They're just not a good idea when you have an overactive imagination.

Unemployment just lacks that.. finesse that it used to have.

I'm disappointed I don't see a Cuddy message in the sea of drunken notes. Why is that? Wilson didn't post one either... Not even zombie Cameron, and I had money on that one. My friends are no fun.

I have a couple of announcements to make. The first is that starting in January I will be teaching astrophysics at Columbia University. The second is that I will not be drinking tonight, at all.

I hate to disappoint you all, but there will be no drunk posts from me. Thank you.
