[OOC Note: If any of the information contained herein could not be discovered by the strategic questioning of various students and/or townsfolk, please let me know and it will be removed. ~S]Welcome to the first issue of the Hogwarts/Hogsmeade Quarantine Bubble News. If you can think of a better name for it, be my guest. In the interest of keeping the general populace informed of what's going on, we're going to recap all the information we've been able to gather. If you have information (not rumours or suspicions, but actual information, please) please let us know, and we'll include it. Now, onto the news.
★ First and foremost, this Sunday night is a FULL MOON. Everyone should stay indoors after dark, whether you're in town or not. You have been warned.
★ You probably all saw Auror Peakes' announcement that Alecto Carrow has been killed, and Professor Hygge was one of her many victims, and is still in critical condition. Recently she was responsible for beheading one of the acromantulas being raised by the CoMC class, and may have mutilated other animals. Last week she apparently attempted to force Seamus Finnigan to kill his own platonic life partner, Dean Thomas.
★ At the moment, there has been no sign of the escaped lunatic, Bole since he attempted to murder Dennis Creevey in a truly fucked mental game of hangman with Neville Longbottom. He is known to be at large in the quarantine.
★ You surely couldn't have missed Stephen Cornfoot's confession to wiping Hermione Granger's memory, after an attempted burglary of some dark magic books. He later claimed that he was having some sort of breakdown, and was in "a dark place".
★ Among the ghosts now roaming the castle, apparently, is the twin Weasley.
★ Recently infected or presumed to be infected: Poppy Caxton, Tracey Davis, Saffir Capper, Angelina Johnson, Ronnie Montgomery, Draco Malfoy
★ Various people are working to rebuild the Great Hall. No update on their progress or any kind of estimated time of completion.
★ Still no word of any more work on the cure, but you can hardly call that news.
You're welcome.
