Come on, someone has got to be bored enough to pick up another line. I'm looking for five in particular.. that should help five bored and homeless people right there!
Anyhow..
The best friend/roommate: It's simple. They've known each other since she moved to New York. He could have either been a fellow bartender while she put herself through so many years of school.. or he could have been stuck in most of the courses she took. Regardless of the route we take, they'd be very close friends and roommates.
The brother: They typical older brother line. She loves him and hates him at the same time. He can be a total asshole when the mood stikes and she hates that about him, but despite that, they are closer than they might seem. The past year or so he has spent traveling, so she hasn't seen him for some time. The reason why he's traveling? Totally up to you.. It could be work, or it could just be personal time. He'd also gain A LOT of cousins on his way in.
The ex boyfriend: He would have been her first everything, including the first one to break her heart. They were a couple all throughout high school, but broke up close to graduation when she found out he'd been cheating on her. He would have been that popular guy everyone wanted. (I'd still kill for a Brad Pitt for this one.) At the same time she also found out she was pregnant, and not wanting to face him with such news, she moved to NY with her best friend from high school. There she gave birth to the baby and gave him up not long after.
The adoptive mother: I'm not sure where I want to go with this one just yet, but I would absolutely love to have the woman who adopted her son around. It should be fun once they find out who they are. The son should be about 12.
The adrenaline junkie: He's one of her closest friends, and the one who always brings out the crazy in her. They both obsess over fast bikes, and anything that will give them that rush. Anytime they are together, they are very likely doing something stupid or rash. They have had their fair share of injuries together, but they are still to learn from that.
And these would all be for timesquare.
EDIT: Also, does anyone PB Jason Statham? How about Victor Webster?

macvarish A guy that she meets off of like eharmony, plentyoffish something like that? I'd like to play it out as she just recently found out and take it slow like they e-mail one another and talk to one another over the phone and stuff and eventually they meet up and it could either be a fail or a total friendship with an open door for something else in the future? I think it would be great for activity and character development.
