Ridiculous piece of Muggle machinery...

I have spent a good many years contemplating my own mortality, and what, precisely, awaited for me when that moment finally arrived. A Muggle city across the pond is hardly what I envisioned. Furthermore, considering I currently require oxygen to breathe, I am assuming I am, in fact, not dead.

That being the case, would anyone care to explain to me exactly how I managed to travel clear across the entire globe without any memory of doing such a thing? And, for that matter, why I appear to have de-aged to how I appeared in my youth?

I can assure you, I am scarcely the sort who wishes to re-visit the past and can guarantee when I find whoever is responsible, will make certain they rue the day they attempted to meddle in the affairs of Professor Severus Snape.

And you would be absolutely correct in assuming that you are anything but six feet under. Bravo. I do applaud you. Really.

I am afraid that I have no answerers to give you as to why you managed to show up where you did, or why you have appeared in all of your youthful glory.

But I did say nearly the same thing when I found myself here, and to my disgust, I still have not found who is responsible. So good luck with that.

No, you cannot possibly be here as well. You should still be at Hogwarts, about to be defeated by the young Mr. Potter.

I see. Quite an interesting set of circumstances has befallen a few of us, it would seem.

'Interesting' would be one way to describe it, Snape. But, I could always pull out a few other words that might do better to describe the circumstance.

Hello, Narcissa. Always a pleasure to see you. Although the circumstances could be better, I must admit.

[Private to Narcissa]
What, precisely, is going on? Is that actually the Dark Lord? And what is this rubbish I'm hearing about some sort of books?

Of course, it's...am I to understand, then, that you're trapped in the body of a seventeen year old, but still retain your adult mind?

[SEVERUS]

It's strange to me as well, love. I thought I had accidentally touched a Port Key in the gardens, but apparently some strange force has called us here and continues to keep us here. As for our the Dark Lord, it would seem he is not yet Voldemort. That is, he is still Tom Riddle.

Books?

Yes. It would seem that is precisely the situation I find myself in at the corrent moment. It's quite a nuisance, I assure you, and one I shall have to work to correct.

[Narcissa]

So we are not capable of leaving. I hadn't attempted such a thing, yet, but I suspected it wouldn't be possible.

I see. You've written his name. Do you no longer fear him as you once did?

Yes. Something about Potter. When inquiring of my location upon first arriving here, before being shown to this... device I am using, I was informed that the robes I am wearing were quite authentic looking and I must have just stepped out of one of the Harry Potter books.

How long have you been here, then? Who else is here of which you are aware?

I find that to be disappointing, friend. I am sorry for your situation, though extremely happy to have you back see you're alive once more.

[Severus]

It is not so much a lack of fear as an awareness. Understand that to me, He was dead and now...he's yet to become the full fledged horror who once ruled us. Does that make sense?

I had no idea.

No more than a week, love. Edric Nott, Lavender Brown, and Ronald Weasley are presently with us, Vol- Riddle and you aside of course.

You would be as daft as you appeared to be while in my classes, Ms. Brown, if you were to do so. It's a relief to find you've apparently gained some wisdom of late.

If you wish to tell me something, do so. Do not begin a sentence only to change your mind halfway through. It's both a sign of your total inability to think far enough ahead to realize you don't wish to make the statement as well as a waste of both of our time.

Now, is there something you wish to say?

It is amazing what spending six years in St. Mungo's can do for you Professor, you should try it sometime.

[Private to Professor Snape]

Oh Merlin, you're worse then before you died.

Let's see.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is here, and happens to be a form of his younger self.

You are here, and look younger but know me.

Ron is here, but he appears to be from a different year then I am.

Not to mention the fact that there are Dementors here, and I'm 90% sure I will soon be turning into a full fledged werewolf.

Oh, not to mention we're apparently fictional.

And you seem to have legions of what are called fan girls who are obessively in love with you. And you think I was daft?

You... are becoming a werewolf. Filthy, disgusting creature...

Fictional? Fan girls? Would you care to elaborate, beast Ms. Brown?

Well, I might be. I was attacked by Fenrir Greyback during the battle of Hogwarts. At first it was just some wolvish qualities, but I think something here is making me well...more wolf like? Is that possible?

Apparently, we're from a series of books on Harry. Someone told me this means we're from a parallel universe or something.

Yes, you have fangirls. Fans of the books who are quiet obsessed with you. I wouldn't suggest looking yourself up on the Internet Professor, some of their antics are quite disturbing, how can they like you like that!?! frightening.

Before today, I would have said I've never heard of such a thing. After discovering this place, however, I cannot say that it is entirely impossible.

Again, I find this virtually incomprehensible, yet have already heard mention of these books from another. It seems the impossible, here, is quite possible indeed.

I shall make certain to refrain from doing just that.

Not exactly what I wanted to hear, and from these books I see you're not to keen on werewolves. So if I do turn, I probably couldn't convince you to make that potion?

Any idea on what or where here exactly is than, Professor?

Good idea. Because they talk about well...now you can't hate me for this one, as you did tell me to finish my sentences...some of them seem to think you are a "sex god" and seem to think you have romantic feelings for certain students. Which made me laugh and want to throw up at the same time.

[ooc: lol, sorry. Lavender couldn't help herself there :D]

Ms. Brown
[info]brewingdeceit

My opinions of werewolves nonwithstanding, I would rather not have a rabid, blood-crazed beast running amock each full moon. It is called 'Wolfsbane Potion', Ms. Brown, not 'that potion' as you so casually referred to it, and I will brew it for you under one condition.

You are to find a place where you can remain during the full moon that is well isolated, or at the very least caged. This is not because I do not trust my ability to brew the Wolfsbane Potion correctly, but rather because I am not certain the ingredients will be the same, or that the Wolfsbane Potion will do as it properly should. Therefore you will take added precaution every full moon, no matter what else may be taking place at the time.

What? Romantic feelings for students?! That is utterly ridiculous! Who are these people? I will not stand for this outrage! And how dare you for telling me! ...I also said I would not go searching for the things these fangirls write about, thereby implying I had no desire to know. Clearly this was an implication you did not properly comprehend, as you felt the need to tell me regardless.

Well pardon me, I had no idea what it was called since I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I'd need it.

For once I'm one step ahead of you. I've been looking for a proper cage since this seemed to be a possibility. However, the day I was heading off to the Hyperion Hotel (the people who work there have an organization called Angel Investigations...), I was attacked by Dementors. Luckily Ron came in time and saved me.

Knowing some of the people here, Professor, they would have told you in extremely graphic detail. Better you hear from someone you know then someone you don't, right?

Can I ask you something? You um...died. How is it that you're here and...look you know. Younger?

Do as you feel you must, Mister Weasley. Although, before you make it your personal mission to make such outlandish claims as to my having a part in the Headmaster's demise, perhaps you should consider if that is truly the sort of attention you'd like to heap upon yourself. Unless, of course, your sparring ability has increased significantly in a very short period of time.

Are you truly as dense as I accused you of being all these years, boy? Think!

My own moral ambiguity notwithstanding, surely even you in your infinite determination to pass judgment upon my actions, are capable of realizing that, were I as 'evil' as you claim me to be, the three of you would not have survived one more instant in those woods were I to learn of your location. Or are you still incapable of seeing anything beyond that which you wish to see?

Lily Evans. Not Potter. Evans. She is in her fifth year at Hogwarts and has recently found herself in this place. Continue to upset her in the manner you've been doing thus far and Dumbledore will not be the only one who meets his untimely demise at my hand.

Think about it, Weasley. For once in your insignificant existence, stop assuming you know things you do not and actually use that brain of yours, as small and dim-witted as it may be.

I am here, from a point in time further than you are from, yet look like my younger self. The Dark Lord is here as his younger self. You and Miss Brown both appear to be from different points in time as well. Contrary to popular belief, Lily is quite capable of making her own decisions. She needs neither her unborn son nor his friends to make them for her. Very little you tell her will have any bearing on her opinion of me and, should you somehow find yourself successful in extracting her from my life, I give you my word as a wizard that I will rest at nothing to make certain it is the very last thing you do in that miserable existence that you laughingly referred to as a life.
