~~Ridiculous piece of Muggle machinery...~~

I have spent a good many years contemplating my own mortality, and what, precisely, awaited for me when that moment finally arrived. A Muggle city across the pond is hardly what I envisioned. Furthermore, considering I currently require oxygen to breathe, I am assuming I am, in fact, not dead.

That being the case, would anyone care to explain to me exactly how I managed to travel clear across the entire globe without any memory of doing such a thing? And, for that matter, why I appear to have de-aged to how I appeared in my youth?

I can assure you, I am scarcely the sort who wishes to re-visit the past and can guarantee when I find whoever is responsible, will make certain they rue the day they attempted to meddle in the affairs of Professor Severus Snape.

Do as you feel you must, Mister Weasley. Although, before you make it your personal mission to make such outlandish claims as to my having a part in the Headmaster's demise, perhaps you should consider if that is truly the sort of attention you'd like to heap upon yourself. Unless, of course, your sparring ability has increased significantly in a very short period of time.

My own moral ambiguity notwithstanding, surely even you in your infinite determination to pass judgment upon my actions, are capable of realizing that, were I as 'evil' as you claim me to be, the three of you would not have survived one more instant in those woods were I to learn of your location. Or are you still incapable of seeing anything beyond that which you wish to see?

I will, however, tell you what your concern at this particular moment should be.

Lily Evans. Not Potter. Evans. She is in her fifth year at Hogwarts and has recently found herself in this place. Continue to upset her in the manner you've been doing thus far and Dumbledore will not be the only one who meets his untimely demise at my hand.

Think about it, Weasley. For once in your insignificant existence, stop assuming you know things you do not and actually use that brain of yours, as small and dim-witted as it may be.

I am here, from a point in time further than you are from, yet look like my younger self. The Dark Lord is here as his younger self. You and Miss Brown both appear to be from different points in time as well. You can easily and readily accept all of this, yet still find it impossible to believe that Lily Evans could be here as well?

Contrary to popular belief, Lily is quite capable of making her own decisions. She needs neither her unborn son nor his friends to make them for her. Very little you tell her will have any bearing on her opinion of me and, should you somehow find yourself successful in extracting her from my life, I give you my word as a wizard that I will rest at nothing to make certain it is the very last thing you do in that miserable existence that you laughingly referred to as a life.
