*loiters on a street corner in the heart of Delving, a pair of plain duffels (one olive-green, one cone-orange) piled at his feet, both hands casually tucked into his pockets*
*squints up at the street signs, and at the surrounding buildings, then finally grins at his two companions and their fold-out map*
So, this is definitely the beginning of a joke, right? "How many electricians does it take to find a hotel?" Oh, wait, I've got it-- "A master and two journeymen walk into a bar..." Except we'd need a bar for that one.
*off their looks (long-suffering and amused, respectively)* Okay! Who's volunteering to make like a tourist and ask for directions? Anyone? |

*wanders back from Irmo's and sits in a fountain for a while before going back to work* (*well, sticks her feet in, anyway*)
*still is not sure what Ossë wants she should do*
*spends a long time thinking about this from behind her desk at the SCC offices*
*eventually concludes he won't notice unless he makes her notice Delving would be much better off without interruptions of a hydro-electrical nature* *therefore decides to change a few circuits to make sure he can't get back to her that happens*
*flicks a few switches and hangs roadblocks creates an internal power loop that restricts flow of power to and from internal sources only*
*posts a notice:*
Dear Ossë SCC Customers,
GO AWAY. Please be advised we are experiencing rolling brown-outs as we perform system maintenance in the coming weeks. We thank you for your patience!

*wipes her hands of it and flounces off to a bar for a bit of bubbly he probably won't even notice anyway?* |

*finishes studying the transcripts from Ulmo's latest request show*
*feeds all of the information into a spreadsheet and comes up with some very pretty piecharts that show just how much time Mr. Conway spends flirting with his callers*
*also analyses the number of prank calls and comes to the conclusion that Ossë must be well outside mobile phone coverage because of the dramatic decrease in prank calls this past month*
*steps out of her office (which is approximately the same size and proportions as a broom closet) to hunt for some coffee* |

*posts a status message warning SCC customers about "Localized, intermittent brown-outs, while we conduct maintenance on our system. Thank you for your patience!"*
*sets a few diagnostics going on the main computers*
*while she waits, puts her feet up on the desk with the latest in the Belle of Beleriand series* |
