I may be inactive of late because my computer has gone to shit; it's been refusing to turn on, so since then I've been stuck without internet for long periods of time. So at this time, I'm gonna have to put myself on hiatus until the problem is solved. :(

The results of the Activity Check this week are pending. They will appear shortly.

Who: Hephaestus/Vadimas Lugosi (with Jarella) and Alana Kellings
What: The first day of school.

Summary:
Alana comes to see Hephaestus to finally start her studies with the forge lord. After chatting with Jarella, Alana is lead down to meet with Hephaestus. After making her choice to be a smith, Alana’s training begins!

Summary: It's Christmas. So Shiri goes out to the churches, and comes back to cuddle with Adam. Then his mom gets up, they make breakfast, open gifts and chat over Adam's newest art showing.

Summary: Hades went outside to calm down from a nightmare that had woken him from his sleep, only to find a plant in the flower beds that shouldn’t have been there. At all.

Where: Kathy Jenkin’s (Adam’s mother) back & front yard, NJ
When: January 3

( After all, besides sex and alcohol, wanton violence against innocents that one was responsible for was a favorite, traditional means of distraction for the Greeks. )

Summary: The snow in New Jersey had begun to melt and Shiri decided that she was going to help the sunshine destroy her sculptures. Only afterward does she decide to make a new one.

Two things:

First, due to the double holiday season of Christmas & New Years, both being on a Saturday, and New Years Day technically falling on a check Saturday, the next check will be suspended as a holiday gift for all. Try to relax after the holiday madness, maybe relax with some scening as there should be time even for a slow thread/gdoc scene.

Second, results of the activity check are in and two characters fell through the cracks:

Summary: It was midterm season in the University of Miami and it was the first time Cato had to experience the utter joy of constant paper writing. Shiri found him in a computer cluster and promptly helped him play the “Not Studying Game”

Who: Thanatos & Hades
What: Demon hunting aftermath
Where: Haunted hotel in a historic district of Miami
When: Backdated Night after Than’s failed attempt at solo demon hunting
Warnings: light description of violence and wounds

Summary: Some time ago, Hades and Thanatos went hunting to return an escaped demon back to Hell. After they did so, they were forced to speak about the unspoken demons that have appeared between them and their relations with each other. It goes well enough... eventually. Eventually.

This check was not easy to do, so as always, I don't doubt human error made me miss something. Feel free to dispute.

Source: Cato takes Demeter up on the offer for a safe space to try out his untested powers as a god. It goes swimmingly, minus a few flukes, and the two bond over shared memories of the dead king with promises to look more to the future.

I'll be heading out of town for Thanksgiving starting tomorrow morning.  I should be able to log onto the computer every now and again, but I'm not sure how often until we get to our destination.

Summary: Janelle Delmar pops in unexpectedly on Vadimas Lugosi. Freyra’s happy to be free. Hephaestus is happy to see Freyra. They decide to express this happiness with tapas and dancing.

What: Drinking
Where: An exclusive (and fictional) Miami bar.
When: Backdated to before Hades & Persephone’s wedding.
