it's the third Saturday of the month and we all know what that means...

We're been doing pretty good lately, all things considered, so let's keep up the good roleplaying.

Remember activity is defined as:

- a scene
- a journal entry
- three responses to someone else's journal entry
- participation in a thread scene

SPECIAL: This has come up more than once & it seems silly to be hit for inactivity when you have a scene in progress, possibly even near completion but RL got in the way of finishing it. So if you have a scene going and the mods know about it, while you're still encouraged to be active in the traditional way, if you forget or run out of time, you'll be okay.

If anyone is having problems with making activity (and is not on some form of hiatus - actively or inactively), please contact the mods. Activity is important to keep the game running. More often than not, plots and series of scenes have come equally from grand ideas and from random things done.

Summary: Shiri has a request of the goddess of marriage, and goes about making it in the most formal way she is able. That probably helped things.

Summary: Freyra storms out to Atlas’ truck house in a rage. He has another thing coming if he thinks he can cause trouble without raising her ire. What? He did it by accident? Will Freyra’s anger hold in the face of a confused and contrite Atlas? And just where will Atlas go now that the humans are hunting him?

Summary: Shiri needs some help with a class assignment, and Cato could use some family company. It all works out!

Summary: Adam put Shiri on a scavenger hunt that eventually led her straight back home and directly into a question that she hadn’t expected but probably should have.

When: Recent. Clearly after his scene with Dasha

Summary: Hades preliminary planning for a possible attempt to reclaim a portion of the Underworld for the sake of souls and for his own personal sanity continues. This time he speaks to Hela of the Aesir, former queen of the forgotten dead. People who say they will help him continue to expand.

What: Nonsense ending

When: Some time after his scene with Heph
Warnings: none

(  Humored him and cut through his bullshit like only a toddler could do. )

Summary: Dasha wakes up in the middle of the night and Hades goes to her to tell her a story to soothe her. In return, Dasha tells him what he should do with his life.

Who: Atlas
What: Relaxing & destruction of police property
Where: The Everglades

Warnings: None.

( He scanned the sky, for the annoying sound seemed to have its origin there, as did most of Atlas’ annoyances. )

Summary: All Atlas wants is a little piece and quiet. Is that too much to ask?

Who: Hephaestus & Hades

When: February 28th, the wee hours.

Summary:
Hades emerges from the grim gates of Hell battered and bloodied with his faithful hellhound in tow in the middle of Hephaestus’ house. Hephaestus has to deal with his uncle’s physical injuries along with his usual crazy. But, Hephaestus, ever the dutiful nephew, is ready for both, and Hades finds another ally in his mad escapade.

What: Consultation
Where: Hades’ Office
When: Monday, Feb 21, 2011. 8:30ish PM
Warnings: None that I can think of.

Summary: Hera shows up as asked to discuss something with Hades and give her opinions on the matter. Even if they are not what he was hoping for.

This weekend is the first Saturday and you know what that means...

But due to real life making the fictional lives we lead a bit complicated and rushed for more than one of us, this week's check will be waved. Now, that means the next check will be held on 3/19 and since this has been a long duration, hopefully we will all have scenes up by then (Or at least non-"check dodging last minute journal entries").

Summary: As promised, Hades goes to Mel’s theater to judge the soap opera star who has decided stalking the muse and blackmailing her would be a good way to improve his career. He was judged guilty, but not condemned to die. Simply condemned to forgot a little.

Summary: Mel gets a visitor at the theater she is less then happy to see.

Summary: Hestia stops by Hades’ office so they could have a parental discussion, notices that he is more jumpy than usual and then invites him out to lunch. Hades makes sure everyone in his office will be well cared for while they’re away for a little bit.

So two weeks, I know, with many of us on hiatus due to real life being a demanding jerk but, hopefully things will calm got all of us.
