Leah honestly wasn't sure as to what the hell she was getting herself into, but she knew that she wouldn't let herself get caught up with anything that he might throw her way. She was a strong young woman and she didn't want to be involved with someone who drank all the time. At least not if she could help it, anyway. There was a certain amount of attraction that she felt for him but it was nothing that she simply couldn't cast off as being a passing fancy. It was something that didn't matter. What did matter, though, was music.
Music has been her passion for as long as she can remember and even now that she's older? It's no exception. Music and dancing is her life. It's what she lives and breathes for and there's nothing in the world that she would trade it in for. Singing wasn't something that she did in front of just anyone, though, and while she knew that she hadn't known CJ for very long, he is a musician and having the opportunity to showcase her vocals with him seemed like a decent idea. It would be nice to have some feedback on her voice, after all.
She had been in her room most of the day practicing her dance for the performance tomorrow night in the Apollon Grace. It was a show entirely comprised of the dancers and she was, thankfully, in a handful of them. She had been practicing non-stop for weeks to get onto this ship and the fact that someone had seen her talent was enough for her to strive to do her absolute best, even if her calves were now incredibly sore.
Losing track of the time, she ran out of her room while still in her black tee shirt and her dancing pants. She had only had time to slip her feet into a pair of sandals before darting down the hallway to make her way to CJ's room, her hair still tied up from the early afternoon. Leah skidded to a stop in front of his door and knocked hurriedly. Hopefully she wasn't late!
