Leah stumbled backwards a few steps when he positioned himself between her and the door. She had been so close to escaping and he had cut her short. She stared at him, not willing to say anything in reply to what he had said just yet. She didn't know if she wanted to stay anymore. There was something about him that compelled her to stay but every one of her senses was screaming at her to just leave.
After catching herself by placing her hand on the wall that was nearest to her, she finally sighed and ran her tongue over her lips as she figured out what she should say to him. If he meant it and she left then she would be missing out on an experience that could be potentially beneficial for her in the long run. "Fine," she said at last, though her voice sounded a little defeated even to her. "You pick the song then."
