Her breath hitched in her throat when he grabbed her wrist and she stared down at the contact for a brief moment. The last time they had been close she ended up running out of the room because he didn't understand the word 'no' or 'stop'.
Leah shook her head and pulled her wrist out of his grip when he pulled away. She took a few steps closer but remained standing. "No. It's uh.. easier to sing standing up. Better breath support or.. something like that, I think.." she trailed off. Her mind was clogged up with him and it was screwing her up. How was this man that she obviously had absolutely no attraction to whatsoever able to get into her head like that? It was a little frightening to think that she could let someone in so easily, even if she did think that she was being strong.
"Apollon Grace," she replied with a smile. "It should be a good show, I think. ..You should come," she added as an after thought. She knew that it was ridiculous to invite him to something like this, especially since she was intent on not becoming too attached to him or anything.
