"Yeah, but this is more than team colors." It is mostly a statement more than anything else. "And Quiberon or not, you're all Pride now."

Alasdair quirks his brows in mild amusement. "Oh aye. Though apparently we got macarons hanging around the locker room in here now too, aye?" he adds, nodding towards the box Ainsley brought with her. "My point being, if you don't want to be a wimp about what's going on in the real world, you cannae be a wimp about wearing a bit of pink, can ye?" he adds, running a hand through Maddie's handiwork.

"No, I suppose not." Ellie still wasn't sure what was the Real World, but that was her to figure out. She almost makes a joke about asking the team to go purple for post-season or a Neep game, but doesn't. Ellie's hair might be a fantastic color job, but it's supposed also be a statement.

"You alright there, boss?" he asks, sensing that she's in reflective mood.

"Just a lot on my mind." She gives him a smile, small, maybe a little sad, but honest. Ellie waits a beat and the shakes if off. She needs to rally them, not worry about Meaghan, or the implications of this pink thing.

"I'll get through, but that would go much better if we get another decisive victory under our wings." Grinning now. "You think you can do that for me, Buchanan?"

"Ach, I dunno," Alasdair replied, a smirk playing on his lips as he feigned concern. "I just don't think we're canny enough to go out there and win."

The serious expression held for about a milisecond before he began laughing.

"Maybe we'll have to send out Pip dressed as Laddie just for a little more." And she was laughing now too. This was better. They got this.

Alasdair laughed even more at the mental image. He felt like Pip looked like he had nearly a foot on half the team, more so with his hair at full length. But hey, it was definitely good to share a laugh these days, especially when things had been so hard of late.
