And after Maddock gets his 6th goal in and building up his momentum... Beaters are on him and Maddock doesn't see the bludger coming at him as it hits him square in the back. And does it ever fucking hurt. There is a no 'shame in it' cry out of pain that pretty much rocks through his whole body. He can barely hold on, and fuck it he can't keep flying much longer or he's going to fall off.

Georgi, the quick thinker who is cool under pressure, missed that Bludger but is right there for the aftermath. He shouted out to Maddock a second too late to warn him, and he's close enough to observe that the hit looks really bad -- he immediately waves his bat in the air to draw the refs' attention to the need for a medical timeout and pushes his broom right up against Maddock to support him so he won't fall as they make their way down to the ground.

	Maddock would have definitely fallen if not for Georgi. Massive thanks there, if Maddock could actually say anything past the pain he was feeling. So, definitely leaning on Georgi as he gets him down to the ground. You're a hero Georgi! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Lex visibly pales when Maddock gets it. It shakes her and she and Georgi should have prevented it, that's their job. She's glad Georgi gets him down safely, but still looks like she's about to lose her lunch. (Reply to this) (Parent)
