It never fails to amaze me the awful pickup lines that people continue to use. I mean who thinks things like Can you touch my hand? I want to tell my friends I've been touched by an angel actually work? If I was stupid I might have fallen for it but I like to think I'm not stupid.

You know, I have never actually experienced a prom. Would anyone mind sharing the night with me? I've heard it is special.

Maybe it's because I'm a baby in the grand scheme of immortal things but am I the only one not seeing the appeal of prom? Take it from someone who had one: it was awful. All proms are awful.

This probably won't be awful but then it's not going to much of a prom.

Wow! I sign up and there's already a dance coming up. How lucky is this guy?

So, looks like I need a date. I can promise to be as gentlemanly as you like and no definitely means no. But I kind of insist on coming on my Harley cause it's the only ride I've got right now.

I need a date. Might go home with you? Might go home with other people? Might pick up an extra partner?

Good thing this prom is themed. Last time I got talked into the powder blue suit.

So, weirdest thing just happened. Delivered a costume just now and the guy handed me a couple of tickets for Civil War in IMAX. Which is cool and all. Cause don't get me wrong, I definitely appreciate the asstethics going on there if you get my meaning. But they're for tonight at the Red Rock and not only am I not sure I'm quite fan enough to go to this early a release, but I'm pretty sure I don't know anyone willing to drop everything last minute like this to go to a movie so late. Just seems wrong to let a ticket go to waste just because I don't have geeky enough friends, cool as it would be to see it tonight.

I'm getting on board with some of these fun things to do.

I've needed some good distractions lately.

Anybody remember this game?

My life, apparently, in a game of MASH:

Once upon a time, you met Kenna and got married.
You moved to Australia and lived in a Mansion.
You eventually had 1.5 kids with Kenna.
You drove around in a Blue Canoe On Wheels.
You worked as a Bar Manager until the age of 65, when you retire.

I like our 1.5 kids, Kenna. Also a canoe on wheels is probably the most practical car to have when living in Australia...

So, our practise is trying to put together some kind of 'fun' day, and somehow I've become the party planner as well as the receptionist for this, but I had a thought. They're kids, what kid doesn't like ice cream? Are you by any chance up for an invasion of like twelve kids plus about four-to-five adults some weekday next week for ice cream party fun?

I'm almost late, but I'm in with a few hours to go. But.

Every once in a while, I find myself questioning human intelligence in our current generation (and this is coming from a human, for the record), but who the hell robs a strip club, goes back to it to spend the stolen cash, and then tweets about it?

Unfortunately, that's not where this story ends. Guy ends up skipping bail and three guesses where I find him. No, wait. Guess how I find him.

I mean, don't get me wrong. This makes my job a hell of a lot easier, but people are pretty fucking stupid sometime.

i would love to experience the met gala live one day just so i can see all the gorgeous dresses worn in person. of course, i do not have my head so far up in the clouds to think i would ever attend the actual event itself. watching the many celebrities walk by on the red carpet is enough to placate my heart.

it makes me miss new york a little too, but i am better off without it yearn for paris much more.
