I got hold of my grandparents and father. Turns out, asking them about the founding of UML and Mar Luna opened a floodgate of conversation I was not expecting. I took as many notes as possible, in case there is further information in here we may need in the future.

The important bit - my mother had a sudden change in personality, specifically being even more obsessed with her research and much more aloof, while she was pregnant with me, roughly 26 years ago. This was just after a research breakthrough where she found some out-of-place artifacts in a part of the ruins they hadn't been able to access until then.

This could explain why I can see magic without being magic or having memories.

The pot is broken and I've checked the trash and dumpsters in the area to see if someone threw it in there with no luck. So if someone sees a giant plant loose on the grass or in a trash or something, let me know. Or I guess if a friend suddenly has a giant new plant in their house and a strange story how it got there.

Today is my birthday. Perhaps this is a surprise. It would have been more fitting if it had been Earth Day, but then that would also be a spoiler.

There will be a family dinner at my house tonight, but besides that, I think I will go and see a movie. Even though there aren't any good ones about animals out right now.

I'm not sure what to see. Any suggestions?

The last day of Ramadan is judged on the sighting of the first sliver of the waxing crescent. Then, it is Eid al-Fitr.

Something about that always gave me strength to know the moon will grow big again in times of darkness and fasting.

There are quite a few holidays coming up --

April 7-11 is April Break at the University.

The next week is Holy Week. That Thursday and Friday since there is no partying, I generally like to screen The 10 Commandments since there isn't much to do if you aren't praying and being holy and all that. But those of you who are being observant, I hope you were true to your goals during Lent.

Speaking of which, Pesach is 15 April to 23 April which coincides with Holy Week this time. More dietary restrictions for me. Much excitement. Although if anyone wants some beer, cookies, bread etc we're probably going to have a lot to give away on 14th.

Does anyone have any plans for any of these breaks? I have a huge end of year project for Law School that I will probably be doing most of break. But I will make time for 10 Commandments screening. Maybe the 14th since the 15th is Seder. Let me know if you are interested!

Hello! In honor of Valentine's Day, I decided to introduce the deredere/tsuntsun that has become popular in anime circles to describe couples!

Deredere is overly affectionate. Tsuntsun is not that -- being cold. Tsundere is someone who's default is one but their love interest causes them to flip. This recent obsession with Tsundere has created all sorts of deredere!!!
