[Mami couldn't avoid the 'bots for long, and it was inevitable that they would round her up for this 'chain gang' she had both read and heard about. Unsurprisingly, she went willingly, and the feed opens up on her sitting on a table during one of her 'enrichment activities,' holding a small, white, folded paper crane in the palm of her hand]

It's inevitable that we all pay for our sins. No one is lucky enough to escape final judgement. For most of us, it just happened far sooner than we might have expected. Perhaps in some cases, too soon...

[She pokes her crane and smiles, but it's a sad one]

I can only hope the majority of you come here with no regrets. I believe that would be a far worse punishment than anything this Acumen could think up.

-- oh my, do pardon my musings. My name is Mami Tomoe. I'm new here, like so many others, and I... do look forward to meeting you all.

It’s to my understanding that I’ve been imprisoned in this facility. I can’t say I necessarily agree with the reasoning or methods, however... [There’s a pause, and a very quiet sigh.] I also understand that there’s little I can do at this time to fairly argue my case. I’ve read all provided information that was left here for me; whoever it is that provided this basket, I thank you. It’s already very helpful and greatly appreciated.

[There’s a small pause, as she considers the proper way to approach this next part.] Since I’m to believe this will be broadcasted to those who are here, an introduction is in order. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. Prior to arriving, I was in the middle of some important matters, most of which I presume I cannot resolve under the circumstances. However, if I was brought to this facility unjustly, I can only guess that others, some of whom I might know, are here as well. That being said, if any of you copy, please respond to me. I’d like to further discuss this as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time. [Displeased, but she cuts the feed abruptly. She’s going to carry about until she gets any sort of response.]

[The feed opens with Alto's very, very angry face. At first glance - sometimes even at second, third, and fourth glances - he appears very effeminate. Luckily, though, his voice is fairly masculine.]

You've got to be kidding me! Of course this kind of stupid thing would happen just when I don't need it.

Acumen. If you're going to imprison me like this, we're going to discuss it first. Can you hear me? Say something!

Just when I-

[A frustrated sigh, and he rips off the communicator]

And get these chains off me!

[ooc | Edit: Oh, right, and he's landed somewhere in Sector 1 and is just...RUNNING AROUND TRYING TO FIND A WAY OUT.]

[Tugging at the hem of her sleeves, Midori glances out at the far wall, where formica meets plaster. In-- in jail?

It's a familiar sick, creeping feeling that she shoves away; a feeling that had plagued her for that entire last two days, watching the streets crack and her friend drift further and further away.

Her list of crimes make sense. She'll just -
]

Hiya! My name's Midori, I'm new here, I guess-- oh, [pausing, briefly, fingers now splayed over her rumbling stomach,] can someone tell me where the closest place to get food is? I think I'm lost!

[She hasn't seen the basket with the cookies yet.]
