[Now Zero too, huh...? Her smile is a little sad as she walks, groceries in hand. There's a glazed look in her eyes and while her feet carry her along the paved path, her mind is obviously elsewhere.
One by one everyone is vanishing from the dome. Maybe now she's become immune to the feeling. She isn't sure why Zero's disappearance only leaves her feeling a little numb. Her brother's disappearance in the past upset her. The disappearance of her parents even more devastating.
She's done okay today, though. Probably no one even realizes that there is another disappearance from her own world; except for perhaps the defense force, she allows. No, Zero is always quiet, too. It isn't unheard of for him to go a few days without really speaking to the people that consider him a friend.
Instead, she thinks, that it's bittersweet. It's good that he is home, where he is better off. Of all things, Zero certainly doesn't deserve prison. Although on occasion ugly feelings of envy overtake her when someone else disappears, she can't force herself to feel jealous over Zero's luck. More than herself and anyone else she wants Zero to be happy and to be free. She takes a deep breath, the bag at her side full of tablets softly clicking as she moves. She brushes her long hair to the side with a free hand in the darkening light of dusk.
It's been over a year since that day, where the two of them separated. For that entire time the only person she was able to rely on was Kaname. Both Zero and Yuuki...they're supposed to be enemies. He's promised to kill her, after all. It's part of his reason for continuing to survive. Even so she's never once been able to think of him that way. Why though are her thoughts so confused on how she's supposed to feel right now?
She gives a small sigh. Even when you're gone, you're still always on my mind, Zero. It'll always be like this, huh...
With a wide yawn, her fangs peek out before she covers her mouth, tiny tears appearing in the corners of her eyes with the sudden bout of drowsiness. Perhaps it's because of yesterday that she feels so tired now. In any event, she's felt restless of late. Zero's disappearance too only adds to that overall feeling she's experiencing. With all of what has been happening...there has to be something that she is capable of doing. Just sitting on her thumbs doing nothing is frustrating.
Pausing mid-step she stops, only to lean against the wall of a nearby building. Maybe one of the best things she can do right now... is just ask a simple question. Hand reaching up, she gently touches a button on her communicator. It gives a small click, and the audio feed is on.]
[Clearing her throat, Yuuki's voice is soft. It echoes gently on the network, not demanding or even accusatory. Just curious.]
Do you believe that...you should be here? That you, and possibly everyone else, deserves this place as a punishment?
[She has her own definite opinions, just as everyone else. She isn't here tonight to judge others for possibly having different thoughts and beliefs from herself. But-- she wants to know.]
[OOC: You can catch her on her way from the convenience store back to sector 4, or just do audio. ^^]
